The is the reason why it is possible to speak a language, bear the name of another language and not belong to the people. Some IKWERRE,OGBIA,EKPEYE, ETCHIE persistently deny being Igbo, the Olukumi almost lost their identity in name and language if not for the present intentional effort for renaissance of their Identity. It will surprise anything to know that Ugbadeof the Golden Eaglet fame is actually a Yoruba WITH Igbo name.

Igbo gang of Ironsi, Azikiwe, Nwokedi, Mbadiwe, Orizu, etc tried to colonize the entire naija when they executed a coup and kill all military and political leaders of other tribes, but they failed. Ojukwu then reduce his ambition and decided to colonize the South South and Lagos, but South South elders and governors got help from Gowon and defeated Ojukwu. Now, Igbos have reduced their ambition a little and this time they want to colonize Ika, Enuani, Ukuani, Ikwerre, Ogba and Opobo people. But they are getting strong resistance and will again fail.
