Hey, I have a few things to say that I hope are helpful. I'll lead off by telling you how I got here. I was doing a HelloFresh meal tonight and trying to figure out why in the instructions "chili sauce" was in red font. Oddly (and you may understand this better than me), my wife skipped right over this ingredient and asked for my help. Was it because it was red? And why red--because it's spicy? No clue. But my Google search for an answer landed on your video. I entirely agree with your premise for the video as both my wife and I have trouble reading their otherwise attractive recipe cards. My biggest issue is the process being in paragraph format rather than a bulleted or numbered list. I can't tell you how many times we both get lost in the copy and accidentally miss steps. I, too, had figured it was a space issue--but you proved it could be done. Great job--send it to HelloFresh! Now about your video. I come from an audio background providing music and sound for picture--for TV, film, ads, and websites. While I understand the need for music in your video where there is a lot of time between VO segments, the music here I found annoying. Some of it was likely because it was "affordable" music that was badly produced (I understand that issue and have had that budget discussion with many many clients). But something--either in the music mix or your mix--was causing a lot of the music to "pump" (which makes the music seem uneven) and was really hard (for me) to listen to. On the plus side, the VO sounds good (those Shure SM7B's work pretty well!) But the mix really fell apart at 12:13 where it wasn't ducked at all for the VO. I understand that you're a visual guy, so I get it. But on that point, why is the video quality so poor? The resolution made much of the text unreadable, and I was really interested in seeing all the subtleties and detail! I'm an audio guy so I'm not sure what exactly is wrong, but i watch a lot of RUclips videos and even after putting on my glasses everything still seemed a bit fuzzy and drab. I'm honestly writing all this to try and help--not be a troll. I'd love to see this video get a lot of hits because I think you're 100% correct about HelloFresh and the needed changes in their recipe cards. Cheers!

This is so much better than the actualy new UI its not even funny, the new one looks like it belongs on a freaking tablet or phone! When i saw it i didnt tollerate the new layout for a second and used any extentions i could find to get rid of it. Real talk though this is gods work you're doing with this and i love it!

they rolled it back where i live. but today it came back and its even worse. the icons are 2x the size now. and on the home page. i can see 4 videos total screen. 27inch 1080x1420p monitor. WTF

OMFG!!! Y'all calm down. This is just a treatise on possibilities. You guys are flaming like he is the UI PM on the VS team. This is also why products are built in a vacuum with a finite set of development partners. If you leave things open to users, you would get so many contradicting preferences that you would never get a product shipped.

Tbh, I think your UI, as clean as it may look, strafes too far from vscode's ux, which is to be as minimal as possible so that you have more screen real estate for the important stuff, and as simple to use as possible. You've missed the minimality
