Добавлен 9 янв 2021
We're four guys who wanted to share our hunting experiences with you. Our goal is to entertain, and hopefully teach, even if it's from the "well, that didn't work out" point of view. We don't take ourselves serious, and have a fun time doing it.

I think I ran into Ryan on the top of that nasty windy rode that looks over the highway September, 2023.
Congratulations. Iam on 20 points waiting to draw one day. Looks like chelan butte area which i have been putting in for last 6 years.
only question i have is, why in all the test everyones doing that ive seen. why is nobody useing or trying the cheap winchester 170 grain ammo? unfortunatly here in upstate ny thats all any of the gun shops here can get. so iam kinda stuck and wondering how they shoot since i invested in 3 boxes of it
When I put this video together the power point hadn't been released yet.
Nice video, thank you. The copper bullets shoot accurately out of a clean bore without guiding metal deposits from jacketed bullets.
Are these guys men or MONSTERS....they are worst than both put together....SICK
Awesome bull! Congrats on your special draw! (Once in a lifetime)lol What unit quality elk tag? Great video
Really great video and footage...thanks for using lighted nocks so we can actually see the shot.
In the future strip and clean your barrel between bullets. Fire 3 to foul then shoot your 3-5 shot group after barrel has cooled. This will show you what the gun is actually doing with each of those round. Again VERY important when tested standard bullets and all copper bullets
I'm commenting before I finished the video but please tell me you cleaned and stripped the barrel before shooting the all copper rounds? That will greatly hinder accuracy if you shoot them after standard cup/core bullets or vice versa
Heck yea man 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
I'll watch this time, BUT the next time I click on one of your vids and there's any type of background music during the hunt, I'm tapping out. Rediculous. I wanna hear the sounds of humans on the ground and nature. Not some bass thumping tap dancing BS. Nice Bull.
Cry about it some more 😂
Why weren’t you guys bugling at the bulls. Gonna be hard to pull a bull away from his cows with just a cow call
ugh, sorry man, that was painful to watch. thanks for sharing though.
If you shoot solid copper through it you need to clean the barrel before you put lead core bullets through it or you won't get the best groups out of it you can get. I don't know the science behind it, that's just how it is.
Funny you should mention that. I was just reading something about that a few weeks ago.
Great hunt, and video. Only thing sucked was the background music. Takes me out of the hunt alot.
Just curious what barrel inlet option you used when picking you stock
Proof sendero
When is elk rut?
It can start early September and last through the first week of October or so. The best two weeks seem to be the 3rd and 4th week of September, but we don't get to hunt those dates in Washington. It can vary a little either direction from year to year or the area(state) you're hunting.
I had one of the Chelan Butte A tag this year. It was truely an awesome experience. Any Washington bighorn is a tremendous accomplishment.
Awesome video! I hunt the Eastern Cascades and see huge bulls every day in a spike only unit. Can't wait to get drawn again. It has been 13 years. It was so cool to see that bull stop broadside. Great job being patient!
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching! Good luck in the draw this year.
Way to much music for me. I don’t want to watch a music video when I’m trying to watch a Hunting video…..
To each there own. We appreciate you giving our video a look anyway.
Great job guys!
Thanks, and thanks for watching!
Still a stud ram, don’t beat yourself up
Thanks man, much appreciated
3 videos on Wyoming pronghorn hunting. I enjoyed all of them and it was cool to see so many folks be successful on their first hunts. I will have 6 points next year and my youngest brother will have 4, so it’s time we went and I am looking forward to it.
Thanks for watching! You're sitting pretty good with points, you guys will have a blast!
@@honorthewildoutdoors2109 you are quite welcome and yes we should 😃
Trying to figure out some easier units to draw for my son and i will be the first time so just trying to get out there to experience it. What’s the best way to leave about the units beside yt
There's services like gohunt, but if you're looking specifically at Wyoming I'd say just check out their fish and wildlife website. It's probably the most user friendly and you'll be able to see draw odds for each unit, success rates and they have a map to see public roads and public land access. Good luck, Wyoming antelope is a great hunt for kids!
@@honorthewildoutdoors2109 thank you . Yeah he’s excited looking into it so I hope we can get drawn and get him on one . As long as he gets one I am perfectly happy . Looking into Montana also
just making an assumption here. Do you think that high power scope had something to do with it? I only ask because I have a similar set up, at close range you can only see one animal at a time. Good hunt and good job on the video.
I think there were several things that played into. One could've been the close shot with the scope power, but nonetheless it was a hard learned lesson. Thanks for watching!
@@honorthewildoutdoors2109 well thank you for sharing. I too am from Washington. Grew up in that area actually.
looks like a great trip
Thanks! It was fun...antelope hunting is one of our favorites.
That’s an awesome series of videos! Did y’all all draw the same unit, or were y’all spread across different units?
Thanks! Ya, we put in as a group and do all or nothing.
Another awesome pronghorn hunt. Congratulations gentlemen. Hopefully 🤞🏻 next year I can do this with my youngest brother and possibly my Dad. 🙏
Thanks buddy! Antelope is our favorite hunt. From the 20hr plus drive to the week long hunt. It’s an absolute blast. Best of luck on your future hunt. Can’t wait to hear about it.
@@honorthewildoutdoors2109 you are welcome 🙏 and I am glad to hear that it’s your favorite hunt. Good luck 🍀 this year
Congratulations to all of you. Excellent video
Thank you
It happens to all of us. Thanks for reminding us to take the time to make the right shot.
Yes it does. Thanks for watching. Best of luck on your hunting adventures this year.
Congratulations guys on a great hunt. It’s been my dream for many years to do a Wyoming pronghorn hunt, maybe combined with a mule deer 🦌 rifle hunt.
Thanks! Build up some points and go! Don't over think it, pronghorn hunting is a blast. We have a couple more pronghorn hunt videos dropping the next couple of weeks.
@@honorthewildoutdoors2109 you are welcome 🙏 and I actually have 5 or 6 points for pronghorn and mule deer 🦌 in Wyoming. Ok 👌 I will look for them. Thanks 🙏
I'm still dumb founded how you confused the rams?? On the bright side, the bigger ram is still running around creating little rams. 🤣
Ryan's said the same thing since he pulled the trigger.
Might not have been the biggest ram of the bunch, but hey its a lot more than most hunters ever dream of being able to do. Great ram and a solid video of the hunt!
Thanks!
My friend and brother talked me into shooting a half curl, desert. Do I have regrets? 100%. Did I daydream about a giant ram for months after I drew the tag? 100%. I completely relate. But hey, we're successful sheep hunters. I am now a member of the Wild Sheep Foundation, and by the time I draw a rocky mountain tag, I don't know how much time and money I will have given to this amazing animal. Great video!
Good job guys!
Thank you. It was a great hunt. It felt great to actually be in the woods chasing these monsters on the Eastside of WA and be able to actually harvest one. Thanks for watching.
I totally respect that fact that u owned up to the mis judgment and carried on.. great hunt brother 🤟
Much appreciated, thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing your story, sorry for how it turned out.most guys would not show this, so congrats to you.maybe play the lottery and buy the governor’s tag
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. We try to be real, and that means showing the tough stuff too.
Congrats on a great ram anyway, sheep are not an animal you get in a hurry and shoot. They are hard to field judge when you are excited and under pressure, but you still got the experience what a ton of us hunters want to experience--Bighorn Sheep! thx for sharing your storey.
A lesson we learned the hard way...We really appreciate you watching!
Good stuff!! Congrats on an amazing looking hunt and a super bull!!
Thank you. Definitely a blast. Amazing animals. Thanks for watching.
I can't remember WA regs, is this hunt any ram, or full curl?
There's three different categories for bighorn sheep in Washington, Any ram, juvenile ram, and ewe. Ryan had the any ram tag.
Awesome video guys. Mistakes happen. It was cool to watch the emotion of the hunter throughout the video. Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub! There were definitely some emotions on this one.
Congrats on a great bull. Would have been nice to hear the comments throughout the video of the guys in front of the euro mounts. Not sure why I couldn't. I could hear the music loud and clear though.
Thank you. Thanks for the feedback. I’ll take a look and make sure we didn’t mess something up. Technology isn’t our strong suit….. but we’re learning lol.
@@honorthewildoutdoors2109 completely understand. It’s not mine either.
Amazing Bull!! Well done!
Paused at the shot, talk about a THWACK! Resuming to watch you find the elk nearby.
Congrats!!!
Too much background music. Nice video.
I've been messing around with different formats. I really appreciate the feedback. Thank you, and thanks for watching!
Really wanted to watch the video but the back ground music was annoying
Background music turned me right off, it's a hunting video for crying out loud, keep it real.
I stopped watching because of the music. I don’t understand why they think they need background music. Are they that insecure with their content?
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Congratulations on a great hunt and magnificent BULL!
Thanks! It was a really fun hunt. Obviously getting the bull helped...
Cool bull
Thanks!
Great video, Gents!
Thanks! It was a little different than our normal stuff. Thanks for the feedback!
