What’s a good night setup
No baits actually matter they’re all based on a minimum/maximum rate that bigger fish bite on. For consistent big bass just use tremor shad, glidesdale, or jenkolistic. The game isn’t as in depth as this video appears to be. Plenty of videos on my channel and you can always ask if you need help.
Dam temp of this lake sucks..its to cold nothing will bite
Reset from main menu and re enter to change temp. Plenty of poppers make some trophy smallies bite, I’ve got a good smallmouth video on my channel as well as a good twitch tutorial video that’ll help. For largemouth just stick with tremor shad, glidesdale, jenkolistic. Then carry a 7inch thumper on a 1/0 drop shot and a jerk bait if they really really really won’t bite

Hi AB Fishing I was wondering if your Sponsor work ? I have tired several times to get free lures and shows $0 cost on the lure then when I click on it shows full price. The only thing that has worked to get $0 is a Boat , I guess the sponsors just have a bug in the game cause lots of RUclips channels talk about it, I have new ps4 with new Bassmaster game just tell you witch version I am running. So now I gave up on the sponsors just pay full price on lures and equipment I build up my money. Why is it that I catch those damn strip bass I mean I cought a 56Lb please help....
My sons first cast be caught a 14lb 4oz… after I tried to catch fish for 10mins with no luck, he’s little ass came over saying let me try and bam!
Oh and he’s catching 8lbs and 6lbs left and right, erratically twitching and reeling. SMH

is my game broken???? I barely get 1 fish on st lawrence and I go to your spots and few that I've found. This game is near impossible. Was thinking I'll download a fishing game for my 5 yr old nephew and I to play and this is harder than real life fishing. Uninstalling.

Man i drove up an down this whole river multiple times for a competition and I literally did not see one fish on the radar, however I did try fishing here out of the competition and did get some hits. Just insane that i did not see one fish across most of the river
If you’re not seeing fish on the fish finder, you might need to pause your attempt and restart the game. That is a common glitch where the fish don’t show up and you can’t catch any
I was having a really hard time getting these fish to bite but I completed the College Series with a Texas rigged green pumpkin soft plastic and did stop and go in the all the spots. I bet if you do that In a good spot you'll get bit like I did.

played here like 10 times before i completed the bass tournament on the college series. Tough!! but found the Pad Crasher-Ole Smokey really did wonders! no other fish were interested really but Bass so every bite i knew it was a bass!. Just take some kinda finesse to get em to bite. Just maneuver the analog(thus moving the rod) as you reel in should do the Trick!.
Awesome tip on the lure. Caught my 5 for 15lbs and just barely won the tournament

When they get stuck under the big motor, use the trolling motor to spin the boat and they come right out

This may be a dumb question, but why are you throwing the trap on a spinning rod? And even worse 7 lb line? That's asking for trouble in real life. Apparently the game doesn't care? Serious question. Your hotspot videos have been really helpful. Thank you!
Also why are throwing the jenko swimbait on a spinning rod and braid? I feel like it would work much better on a medium heavy rod with a baitcaster and 14 to 20 lb fluorocarbon. Braid floats and fluorocarbon sinks. I think the name of the game is getting that bait down there as quickly as you could especially when you only have 30 minutes to fish. I know this is a video game but in real life there's absolutely no way I would throw either of those setups. I feel like they're just asking for trouble. Again thank you for your content I really do enjoy it. By the way you might want to try throwing the 3/16 oz drop shot with a yum dinger. I've had some decent succes with it lately especially on guntersville and the St. Lawrence River. Another decent bait for me on the drop shot is the big t fry daddy. Like I said probably wouldn't throw either of them on a drop shot in real life but they work fairly decent in the game. Thanks again and good fishing!
Ya tbh the line/reel/bait combos don’t really matter in the game. From what I’ve seen none of it has much of if not any affect on the rate of fall, action, etc. IRL I’d have it all rigged different but in game there really isn’t much of a difference to me as far as braid and fluro. As far as throwing some things on a spinning rod I just feel more comfortable using the spinning rod since the rod actions and stuff don’t seem to matter. Glad you’re enjoying the videos man!
It does matter in game. I bet if we both hooked up on a dd I'm bringing mine into the boat first using my baitcaster and Xtra heavy rod that doesn't have a soft backbone. I horse my bass in on 50lb braid and rarely break off or lose the fish unless they run into the bank. You'll also have perfect hook sets with a better setup which allows you to horse them in faster. Great video for baits though I use a lot of them plus a few more.
I’m new to the game, why is there only 1 lake to fish the battle royale on? Do they rotate them out? Because I’ve played for about 4 days and can only fish on Sabine for battle royale.

I found the fish spot tons of fish but tried for half hour none of them will bite at all and i'm using the Tremor shad and the drop shot. What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to win the college masters with 4 people, and cant' even get one fish to bite for the life of me.

I just use the same baits for every lake pretty much. There are a few baits here and there that will catch fish on some lakes but not on others but for the most part, the baits in the video are proven to catch the bigger bass in every lake

It’s definitely one of the hardest lakes! The hotspots aren’t as solid as they are on other lakes but they’re there! Just takes a lot of practice!
Thanks for the video. You might consider talking about bass fishing in general. Things like when fish tend to go shallow, and why.. How does water temperature affect how you fish. Answer questions as to why the fish seem to try and stay at a certain depths around structure. Fishing off points, and drop offs, etc. The game does take these things into account, so knowing bass habits would be educational, and I think helpful to novice bass fishermen. I haven’t fished in real life for many years due to health issues, but I was raised on bass fishing, and before I ever got out into a boat I was given a few books and was told by my father that I had to understand bass habits, and their habitat really well if I wanted to be successful at it. Just a suggestion. Thanks again and I look forward to the next video.
I try to do this as much as possible. At first I thought a lot of these factors would come into play when this game came out. But so far, the only things that have contributed to catching more fish in the game are finding the hotspots and then figure out what water temp, time of day those hotspots are good, and what baits are most effective. A lot of the hotspots have different times they are good and also, depending on the water temp, fish will move a little bit within the area of the hotspots. All of those factors obviously are huge deal when it comes to real life fishing. I’m a tournament angler so those are things I think about all the time. But, like I said, everything other than what I mentioned really hasn’t affected catching fish in the game.

Should have shown your map so we know the location
You should be able to see the map in the top corner. You can also see the general area I’m in just buy looking at the thing around me like certain landmarks. My areas are not always exact either just because I’m catching fish in a certain spot doesn’t mean they’ll be in the same spot every time. The fish move around a bit within the areas I’m fishing
In this game are the hot spots always the same or do they move around? I’m interested in trying the game but not if everyone just goes to the same spots
Hotspots move around a bit but are generally in the same areas. If you find a hotspot, the fish will move to different spots in the area depending on water temp and time of day. Generally you’ll see people fishing the same spots but the big factor is figuring out the right baits, water temp, and time of day for the spot. But there are plenty of hotspots around the lakes

I caught one but it was SUPER tiny.
How do I change lures
I believe it is the left arrow on your D-Pad on the controller and then you can choose different rods with different baits
