I just did my first sale and I don’t get the shipping either I am assuming you figured out the shipping

I sell football cards and sold a couple dozen on my first show and then when I was ready to ship I went to the postal store I had to buy all of the packing and labels and it literally left me in the negative. Any tips on where to get shipping materials so it’s super cheap!?

Can you recommend a shipping method for me? I sell coins, usually $20-$40 each. I like USPS First Class Letter because its only $1.75, but eBay wont let me because its not tracked. Do you know a better, cheap shipping service?

Best to use bubble mailer for single card, extra protection, and buyer will be happy u took the time to protect the card

Probstein pays 95% and auctions your stuff, they are a consignment service. Just ship them some stuff man. You say you love to sell but your inventory suggests otherwise bro… it’s not difficult you just have to be active and willing to wait a few weeks or a few months for a sale. That’s why it’s important to list your stuff! If you listed everything for sale you’d probaly get a few sales a day or atleast 1 a day and in a month or two you would have a much smaller list.

This! 1000 x this! Collectibles investing basically turns into hoarding. Retirement investment accounts are liquid, more or less, so when you want to take your gains, you just withdraw it. Pokemon investing requires sweat equity and storage costs. If you assign a value to the storage and the time you put into selling (and of course fees and shipping), your return on Pokemon is probably going to be on par with mutual fund investments. It sure is a lot more fun, though. 😊

Hey Ronnie, I don’t know that opening a storefront is the best option. It seems extremely expensive, have you ever considered getting a table at a card show or some sort of convention? It’s still expensive, but the level of commitment is significantly smaller than opening up a brick and mortar store.

im new to selling on tcg, im currently using sleeve, top loader and a team bag when shipping in a PWE with a non machineable stamp $1.19 for any card for the most part. but you are saying you run a normal stamp, since im new im just worried about the machine mail process and if it would damage a card. so i guess i can be saving quite a bit more if i dont use top loaders for cards from like $1~$10? any more insight would be helpful and appreciated.

Just came across your account! Thanks for this video and love the other content (subscribed). Question. Seen a lot of ways for singles from eBay, any recommendations on sending one less than $20 PWE? Hear a lot of penny/semi rigid/team or slab bag. But have gotten nothing but top loaders in PWE and some get crushed by the sorting machines leaving print lines on the card. I’m sure this is listed somewhere else but enjoy how you explained this here.

Absolutely shocked that you didn’t know to use penny sleeve inside the top loader. This has been done for decades with sports cards. Long before Pokémon even existed, and blue painters tape is fine to use and widely accepted as the standard. Easy to remove and not as tacky (sticky). Edit: I stand corrected, you used an etb sleeve.

Those sleeves you used damaged the cards because they are for playing the card game. Very likely to cause scratches and more damages

don't falsefy saying you need 2 oz service for 1.02 oz. you need it for 1.5oz-2.49oz. Usps rounds to nearest whole number so if its 0.51 oz it rounds up to 1 but if its 1.23 it rounds down to 1.
