I found a much cheaper magnetic lav mic clip, but there was a small problem with it turning off the mic. It requires a little modification but it's easy to do and works! amzn.to/4d6vcX0 2pc clip set As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Can I ask you a serious question. Why can't you anyone show a single pin superseal amp connector 1.5 removal. Especially the removal of the red piece on the female side. Why is everyone so scared of this. It's no where on the internet. Look.
I've never used singles but looking at the online they look very similar in construction, if you having trouble removing the red female try pushing a removal pin in from the back, wire side and see if you can push it out enough to then get the pin in and lift the lock tabs. 👍

You have to be careful when vacuuming the condenser and not press too hard against those fins. Otherwise, you bend far too many of them. Wouldn't a can of compressed air be a safer option? Or maybe a computer vac.
I did another video and used a water sprayer, it works well.
Thank you for this!
No problem 😊
I used this technique last night. He's right about it being uncomfortable, but it does work.

Very useful video. Used these connectors to replace the godawful standard ones on my Oxford heated grips which fail at the merest sniff of rain! Looking forward to warm hands this Winter - cheers

Hello, would you recommend the Bosch Serie 6 dryer or the new Samsung machine?
Dont know anything about Samsung dryer but I have a Samsung American style fridge freezer that's 14yrs old with no issues, all 3 of my bosch appliances have been apart in the last year. 👍
Thanks a lot for creating and sharing this video. Best explanation I’ve seen for how to use those electrical connectors. I was struggling with using GM connectors for my dirt bike tail lights and found this nice video with cutaways. Thanks!
Glad it helped 👍 thanks for watching
Thanks. It seems each series has a different service menu sequence. I also added some bleach in the tank. P3 sounds bit different. I ran both because...why not😂
👍😁
Thank you for your post. I've been looking for a fix for this.

Very good. I ordered these connectors not having a clue how to put them together. Thank goodness 50 plus Dad put this on RUclips. Thanks.

Thank you so much!! That really helped me and I finally did clean it!! Much appreciated 🙏🥰
Your welcome 👍
Where do you get the replacement panel from?
There is an amazon link in the description 👍
I bought it from the local service 25€
Pfff, my luck: Can get the red lockpiece up but doesn't unlock the tab that holds the pin. After putting in a little metalpiece from the back the tab seems broken as it doesn't hold the new pins anymore. Tried it on 5 connecters. All the same issue's😂
I feel your pain😁
Going to give this a try ..what about a steam cleaner used from a couple of inch’s away from the fins ?
You need to be able to get right into the back, the hand sprayer seemed to do the trick
I tried p3 got nothing out but p7 and a little bit of cleaner shifted some stuff out !!!
Nice one 👍
thanks for your vedio.
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it 😊
Thanks mate, this was very helpful to me in fixing 3 Braun shavers when I saw the price of a new one.

What if there are several electrical holes in the floor joist? The electrician had to move the box to a new location. The floors were bouncy before this happened, but now I am unsure how to reinforce it.
If you think there are too many holes you can "sister" the joist with another timber bolted to the existing joist. If the holes are not too big or too close together depending on the length of unsupported joist you could do 2 lines of struts across the floor just to be sure, divide the room into 3 and do a line of struts at the 1/3 and 2/3 position. just be aware that the struts will reduce deflection or bounce but won't add strength to the joist if too much material is missing i.e. holes too big or too close together so if your not sure get someone to look at it for you, good luck with it
Great Video, a quick question as i have a similar fault but using vcds i can see the speed sensors all show a speed would this point to a fault more with the ABS pump/Ecu rather then the wiring? I was about to do that same process you have done but not sure if i have the same issue now? Thanks
Might be worth checking the wiring if it's pointing to a specific wheel especially o/s/r as it may be failing under load, I replaced the sensor first could see speed on live data and it was ok for a few days then failed again.
@@50plusdad-uk thank you, I wanted to double check the wiring like you did but didn't want to waste time if the speed showing on the sensor was a good indication the wiring is ok.
No problem 👍
Good video; thanks. Btw the 'H' in NiMH stands for 'hydride'.

@@50plusdad-uk You're welcome 🙂
My Bosch Dishwasher threw an E15 code. Upon inspection (pulled out from cabinet, folded up the sound deadening batting to look underneath, noticed the float (styrofoam disc in bottom center of base, which rises if water is present to trigger switch above it) was a bit disintegrated (meaning water had been working on it for a while - but I never had a leak externally). Ran a few express cycles and watched for leaks - eventually I noticed a dripping from between the the "sump" housing (the large central grey round plastic pump housing in the center of the bottom base attached to DW tub above). Was thinking of replacing the sump seal (but it looked like a bit of a pain) so I just tightened the four torx screws on the floor of the inner DW tub. Note: the two visible rearmost screws would tighten but one felt like it was almost stripped and wouldn't catch very strongly (as it's screwing into the plastic sump housing below - not a great design by Bosch). So I put some glue on the screw before putting it in - let it dry over night and tightened it up after 24 hours - it still wasn't a tight a screw down feeling as I would like but it seemed to do the trick (the righthmost screw seemed to grab and tighten well - the 2 frontmost screws were already tight as they could go.). This seems to have cured the leaking problem after running a few test cycles and looking for leaks - so all good for now. I may need to replace the seal in the future -or- drop some epoxy in the screw holes to get a stronger screw down tightness. Thanks for all the info. Oh, I replaced the float which was simple as the switch just pulls up with a tug and new foam float sets in place - unfortunately, this little piece of Styrofoam is way overpriced and was like $30 online (oh, well.).
Nice job sounds like you had fun, $30 is a bit much but i doubt if there is a cheaper alternative.
cool too. but only got 8 ferrule ends to make. not worth the cost of buying a tool I'll never ever use again. any suggestions?
The way the tool works, i'm not sure you can get a reliable crimp using pliers or normal terminal crimpers. I only had a few to do and bought a tool but have done more since
Dropped my fuel tank off my motorcycle, broke the fuel line connector and the electrical connector's locking tab that holds the plug to the fuel pump. Didn't trust it to stay in place. Used Google image search to find similar connectors. Then image searched the proper ($85) plug end only to find it on Amazon for $14. Bought a pin tool kit like you have for $9. Watched your video, confirming what I expected I needed to do. Good angles and detail, especially the cutaway which was useful to explain to my friend what needed to be done. $23 saved me from replacing an expensive harness and hours of labor.
Thats cool, I'm glad you found it useful 👍
These had a flush cycle where it flushes entire water container (you fill it with warm water) but it's some weird combo of buttons I could never figure out myself. Service dude won't tell either, top secret! The new series 8 seem to have a maintenance cleaning cycle that does exactly this and is accessible within the settings menu. Still wish there was a fluff pre-filter on top of auto-flush, something like Miele has on their dryers that you can clean/replace but theirs don't flush.
I've tried that and it does get a little bit out but on mine not the baked on fluff or the dog fur. @jmolsson85 left the button combo in the comments, do steps 1-4 fairly quickly it's a bit hit and miss but keep trying and you will get there. 1. Turn the dryer on 2. Move the program selector to Allergy+ 3. Press and hold the temperature target button (bottom row, second one from the left) 4. While holding button, move program selector clockwise to the next program and release the button. Dryer should now say P:01 for the first test program. 5, Moving the program selector clockwise to P:07 and pressing the start button performs a condensor clean cycle of running the pump and then dumping the water from the water tray into the condensor. I put some warm water into the tray before running it. Pausing after step 1 and restaring was a good way of gradually emptying the condensor area after spraying water into it.
I have a regular 3 pin box connector and a 2 pin on my tractor and the box has a little latch on the inside to catch the a hole on the pin like the latch you are showing but my box is different. my box is old and crumbling apart, my pins connected to the wire is in great shape. My question is what type of 2 and 3 pin box do I need to replace my bad ones.my box is the square type with a push on the out side to release the male side from the female side like those on most vehicles. all the ones I see are the type where the pin has a little piece that sticks up to latch in box. I need the latch in the box. What do they call this type of box----Thank you
It's hard to say as there are so many types, as it's old it might not be available any more and cheaper/easier to just replace the whole thing pins and all.
@@50plusdad-uk Thank you for the reply
@montyparks734 👍
What a great idea, I’ll be trying that for sure.
Thanks 😊
How did the fins become so bent in the first place?
Before I fitted the maintenance panel I used a pipe on the end of my wet vac to try and clean it, but you can't see what your doing oops 😬
@@50plusdad-uk thanks for the reply! I’ve just ordered a Bosch dryer but it doesn’t have self cleaning so presumably I’ll have access to the condenser fins and I’ll be sure to clean regularly. 👍🏻
@zoltar808 👍
Excellent tutorial!
Thanks 😊
Ive just had 2 of these brands installed today and was wondering how you get yhe covers off seems fidly
It is the first time but after that it's pretty quick and Easy 👍
Thank you - I’ve been looking for an alternative to sanding / heat gun for similar reasons (thick lead paint everywhere in 1920s house) and was considering this. Have now just bought one (£45 from Brewers, which I thought was great value as others were v expensive). Appreciate the video!
No problem, the next time I used it was much better once I found the sweet spot between holding it too long and not long enough in the same spot.
What are your thoughts on the throttle response? On mine, even with it set to the lowest speed and response, the throttle twists 25 degrees with nothing happening, then it starts going, and there, with just a tiny bit more twist of the throttle, the rear wheel spins.
Agree totally with you, it's way too harsh goes from 0 to 100 in a slight twist which is probably for me the worst bit about the bike especially when my 8yr old is riding it. A controller upgrade would be the answer. I find the adjuster dials a bit vague as well my response dial has no stop and keeps turning a new controller would probably do away with them via an app etc, maybe one day.
I have a question so I am like 4’8 I was wondering if this would fit me I am looking forwards to buy this e-bike
I'm 5'7 and my son is 4'4 8yr old neither of us have a problem riding it, I do reduce power to the minimum for him as it's a bit of a beast. Have fun 👍
Nicely done!
👍
Thx for the video! Now my dryer is working again! 👍
No problem, nice job 👍
Perfect! Repaired my machine with this! 800€ saved!
That's great I'm glad it helped you 😀
I dont think youre supposed to use ferrules on wire like that.
They protect the cable from screw connectors
@@50plusdad-uk It has thick strands, as far as I heard you aren't supposed to put ferrules on that type of stranded wire.
If you know the pitch between the condenser fins you can get a cheap radiator fin comb to straighten them out. I'm running a second hand Bosch self cleaning heat pump dryer. It's about 10 years old. Just replaced the tumbler belt and the bearing. Still somehow works and dries like a champ. It did cost me 80 quid though.
