@@mariodelrosario9578 yes
Sweeeeeet 👍👍👍
Thats just a really cool build!
I regret not buying a complete fc150 a 61 4 months ago for $800. It was fully complete. Not in peices on the floor of someones garage.. jist need some rust work and the engine running. 99% of these for some reason are comoletetly in peices in someones garage which i dont get. I didnt do it because of my 76 J10 project
🤦🏽♂️
Great build, I am currently getting parts to start my FC170 build. Are you running a counter balance in the back?
@@montanajeeper2887 not needed.
What size tires are you running?
@@dave717785 38x13.5x17
That is a very cool truck you built.
What the mpg on these older trucks?
i have always wanted an FC 150 OR 170 they are so cool looking, but i have two 98 ZJ grand Cherokees. a 5.9 limited, i have a 90 Grand Wagoneer, and a 76 Jeep J10 project i got last fall that is a project ive done a lot of work too.. I use it on the farm too but im carefull to not beat it up as i restore it. So im not sure if i can handle a 5th Jeep lol.. honestly if i could find a running decent shape fc150 someone would trade for the J10 i might do that trade.. but i dunno, the J10 is a better work truck bigger bed better engine so maybe i wont do that. There isa guy 40 minn from me who is selling a 62 FC150 for $850.. it has all its parts, bumper, bed, engine, drive train.. But it doesnt run of course, has lots of cab rust, and needs tires, springs are shot. But i feel $850 for such a complete fc 150 is a great deal... most people want thousands for fc's that have no engine, no drive train, all parts missing.. its kinda silly But ya
Absolutely love this build
Great video! What year is that M677? The dash looks fairly modern.
😮
Hi papa
Appreciate the video. What folding chair is that at the end?
Best camp chair I’ve used for on the trail. Folds up small. amzn.to/450hYbF
@@1stgearoffroad264 Thank you! Just ordered a pair for our upcoming overlanding trip along with this table mount. Great setup!
I just went to see the motorcycles going by La Roca, coming back from San Felipe on Sunday 6:00 am a Chase truck pulling a trophy truck passed me about 85 MPH !!! Those guys have those chase trucks well dialed !! I just didn’t want to keep up driving above 80 MPH in my 4 banger Tacoma 🤣🤣
Had a blast at the San Felipe 250 with the @ChristopherPolvoorde team. Got to travel on some pretty cool trails that I would not normally go out and find.
Nice truck
Bring it up to NorCal!
Loved to find one to restore
What gauge metal are you using for your body modifications?
Great video! Can you add a parts list that you have used?
Waiting for the final output.. From India.
Fabulous! Thank you for the informative video! Keep the information coming!
Trying to find time to put more videos together. Stay tuned.😊
Saw your finished build on IG just blowing up! Love the build man! Stoked for a break down in the future 🤘🇨🇦
What spot weld-cutting drill bit is that? Looks like it works better than what I have at the moment.....
This is excellent series of videos. giving me encouragement to do more on my own. Thank you.
Tbh the high center of gravity. And narrow wheel base would make me nervous of flipping lol
Where did you get grab handles
I like how easy to fix this car is good jop 🎉
If u get a crash wiht this trucky u are so dead or somiting lose ... And this in America u realy need money for fixing u in the Hospita.
really nice way you create new supports and brackets. Really informative video.!
Are you doing all body work? And paint? What color are you choosing? I can picture this one on a sand color 💪
Yes, on all the major body work then going to hand it off to someone else to do the final finish work and paint. Stay tuned to see what the rendering looks like for final design.
I have an fc dually and am getting ready to build a flat bed. Watching you for ideas.
is it stupid to try to drive a civic up
Maybe, but you might do undercarriage damage.
The M677 is a cool vehicle. Love the color choice. I watched a video of it at SEMA.
Is that the FC ish M677 that was at SEMA a year or two ago??
Yes.
Looks sturdy
Those gloves wont last 5 minutes when you use them for grinding, 🤣 , I like seeing the progress in your FC 🤛👍
I had to do the same modifications on my fc170 to keep the tires from eating the body . It looks good.
It’s going to be top notch

As a professional bodyman I first want to compliment your work. I'd like to make 2 suggestions for tools. 1st is an air powered or battery powered belt sander and second an air die grinder. Those will make the cleaning and preparing on the inside of the panels before you folded the flange. Also for finishing out welds. The electric grinder your using is just to cumbersome once you used those two recommended tools. Lastly I recommend adding to your hammer and dolly collection. Dagger tools , and body tools are two sites that have good prices and a lot of specialty hammers/dollies.
