This helped me out big time!! Literally I’ve been trying to tackle codependency head on. I’ve been married for a year and a half and it’s been tough getting out of the codependency behaviors that I had when living at my parents and also in my last relationship. Had a fight with my husband today and I wanted to retaliate for him yelling at me. This video is a God sent today🙏 thank you for your faithfulness to this channel❤ I have watched several of your videos now and they are so helpful. The me that tries to get her way and control others is dead. I’m using that, thank you!

Im so thankful for this msg, I feel God sees what I'm dealing with and is telling me he's got this 🙌🏽

Codependency is lack of God's dependency! Believing that people are here to get our needs met. But God shd be the source of love, support, encouragement. so codependency is idolatry. solution: Ephesians 1:19-21

I absolutely love this teaching! I deal with the struggle of codependency and I gained so much wisdom from this video. Thank you for sharing sis! God is more powerful than people. God is more powerful than me. So in the moments I’m tempted to try and pull from others for validation or try to do things in my own strength, I need to lay it down and surrender it to God. Run to Him for comfort first and foremost.

Both my parents had me at 15, theyre emotionally immature, & in turn has caused me to marry an emotionally immmature husband. I like to think of myself as someone who strived even in highschool studying psychology that I have understood myself better than my parents ever understood themselves. Its been hard in my thirties going through understanding all this ....

Hilarious, I read in the entirety your videos 4 years ago when I was working late in the evening each night, & I was awakened by the Spirit to a new relationship with the Lord.. I think it's pretty funny how I asked God recently as I've been in a funk, especially with my husband, where I can listen to some videos again.. and I came back to your stuff to just relisten & I see you've made a new video 3 weeks ago. Hehehe <3

This shame series is amazing. Thank you. I can see Holy Spirit led you in your preparations. I’m at this stage now. Trying to come out of the second guessing… trying to know what loving actions is authentically me and what is crossing into codependency… my husband is encouraging me to find purpose outside my house. I half want it but am also so scared to take that step. I often feel like the girl hiding her treasure. You said our past pain can point towards our purpose. I got a chronic illness as a teenager. Now I have anxiety and dread around the hospital but ironically the place I’m feeling led to be a part of is a hospice center. I am still discerning.

I am just now recovering from a horrible situation in a church a few years ago. A pastor acted in an inappropriate manner and when I exposed this person(and they were let go as a result) they smeared me to many people(many I didn’t even really know). I lost a deep friendship with a lady who couldn’t see this person for who they really were. Although I know what I witnessed was accurate, I still felt immense shame as a result of all this? Why did he target me? What did I do to receive that behavior? Also, the shame of being shunned from a group really messed with me, almost to the point that at my lowest I considered taking my life. The devil really was doing everything he could to destroy me and I have felt like God has been silent this whole time. It’s like I wanted to serve Him and this is what I got as a result(from supposedly HIS people!). I am doing better now but still have my moments where I really struggle with God’s love for me….
