Thank you for this lesson! I am trying to learn because my grandparents came from Ukraine to the US a long time ago. Is it possible, in the end section of the lesson, the conversation, can you include showing the pronunciation in the English alphabet too? Thank you either way!

These phrases are so similar to Latin based languages. Do Slavic languages come from Latin too. The ‘I am called …‘ version is the same structure as ‘ je m’appelle’ in French and the ‘My name is…’ version is really similar to Spanish ‘ moy llama…’. Really surprised me.

I want to retire to the Ukraine after my parents both pass away. And since it's a non extarditionary country with the US, I can change my tax filing status my last year working in the US, max out my credit cards, and take out the biggest loan possible from my bank as long as I convert it to some other asset that I can recover once I've arrived in Europe.

Depends on your native language: If you are a Belarusian speaker, then super-easy If you are a Russian/Polish/Czech/Serbocroatian/Slovenian, then also easy but a little less If you are a German speaker, then middle If you are an other-Germanic-language/Romance-language speaker, then relatively hard If you are a non-IE language speaker, then very hard
