PMF Productions - As long time enthusiasts of Epic History TV, and Napoleonic History, we have been inspired to create our own set of videos to cover previously overlooked campaigns.
Napoleon's First Campaign IV: The Austrian Empire Strikes Back 1796
The Army of Italy is in crisis. Outnumbered three to two, pinned down at Mantua, and two hundred miles from France, General Napoleon Bonaparte can only brace for the coming offensive by a new Austrian commander determined to reverse his country’s recent defeats. But Bonaparte’s desperate situation is about to be transformed into one of his most brilliant triumphs.

I love these sorts of videos! They really help to supplement books (whose maps are less pretty and far more confusing). I think this video is better than any book I’ve read so far that covers this! So detailed! I love it! I wish you were still doing these!
I am still making these videos! Just now for the RUclips channel Epic History.
I love Epic History TV and everything they have made but I prefer this more detailed format.
What books have I reader to get this info and maps I would love to read them
Great stuff. Found your channel through Epic History TV. Subbed.
Fucking awesome
7:25 just realized this hypothetical scenario kind of looks identical to what Napoleon did to the Austrians at Ulm. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 There is a reality not to far from our own where historians view Wurmser as a genius for encircling the French in northern italy 😅
Passion project indeed, good detail, excellent explanation.. Try an Italian translation for pronunciations, e.g. San Michele is correct, well done.
What’s the song at the end? It’s awesome
Thanks! It’s called Ganges, from Filmstro
This is a blatant rip-off of EHTV’s style- this may actually be their video lol
This is not Epic History’s video. It was inspired by their content though.
When is the aftermath of Italian Campaign comming?
Talk about leaving us hanging
They continued on with epic history tv
content is great but in my personal opinion the voice of the epic history TV commentator just steals the march on everyone else.
0:37 I think it's fair to say the directory were quite competent administrators. So I'd argue that statement. They weren't necessarily "good" administrators. They were competent people who were ultimately primarily looking out for themselves - keeping the ship of France afloat was a part of that and, and so they made sure to keep it afloat with their competence. But as soon as that bar was reached the priorities changed. They're hardly a leadership body that anybody want or should rally behind as the alternative is terrible... Which is was...
Bro u need to do videos on the rest of Napoleons campaigns .
I was wondering but will you be doing videos on Napoleon in Egypt and the fighting in Italy during the war of the second coalition.
From what I can tell ehtv is doing Egypt and they haven’t said they stopped working for them.
@@christopherf8912 oh okay.
I watched this two years ago now, glad to see your channel get involved with EHTV, watched all your episodes of 1796 and recently was aw'd at your work on Eylau, absolutely brilliant stuff and cant wait to see more
I always come back to that charge across the lodi bridge, beautiful.
What do you use to make the maps like this?
🇦🇷
The best military channel out right now
Honestly this is better than Epic History version. This is more complex and show how desperate situation was. I prefer this video over Epic History TV.
Awesome video! The Epic History TV format is so good! Also where do you get your sound effects and music from, I really wanna try out making my own videos and the music/sound effects you and Epic History TV use are so freakin good!
wow
New Ideas always seem so wonderful until you see the body counts in the execution yards.
Impressive. I love learning about historic battles. Id love to see others
Hi mate, i hope that you are planning to continue the series. You are doing a great job.
Plz uplod NXT episode
awesome videos man want to see the next one
Came here after you were mentioned in Epic History TV's newest Napoleon video. Can certainly see the inspiration, and happy there is more of this style of content out there!
Supper documentary about Napoleon's campaign in Italy.....Where is part V? Keep up the GOOD work!!😄👍
The one thing I say is a massive problem is the quality at which the voice is speaking the information, it can put off people from watching a video (one suggestion is to record yourself under a blanket)
Prefer the narrator for Epic History TV but love the similar art style ect.
PMF Prod. made the joke. Epic History screamed it louder
I am very impressed by your talent for explaining how the fog of war and the timing of decisions shaped Napoleonic battles. Highly entertaining and inspiring work. Thank you!
Great! Would change the page speed to a slower setting.
Wurmser is a very good General. But Napoleon is the best
And also a little advice work on ur french accent it is hard but it makes names more attractive.
Bro we are still waiting for episode 5 and 6 and maybe 7
The best channel on RUclips
When is part 5 coming out any ideas?
Still waiting for the next video
Hope the next one comes out soon. I'm left wanting more! Excellent work.
Very bad. I watched the first three videos. And this is called part IV is only a repeat in beginning, has an other speaker and even spells names different. Complete crap!
Are you joking? I can’t tell if you are joking. You know this is not an epic history video, right?
Low intelligence is such a curse
🤡🤡🤡🤡
We need the next episode. Awesome quality, even more detailed than some Epic history production
