Thank you a lot, it helped me a lot. MonitorControl works almost perfectly. It can control the brightness almost perfectly. The issue is that my SamsungSmartMonitor M7 has a max brightnesse of 50 unit. It can not go higher. The MonitorControl app can go up to 100 unit according to its progressbar. So the brigthness progress bar doesn't match perfectly the ability of the my monitor. MonitorControl app could let us define what is the max brightness of our monitor or what is the max value of the progress bar. In my 50 instead of 100. For SoundSource it is amazing it works perfectly.

Does it work without injection, i.e., by running the script on loading it via a third-party automation environment (such as FastScripts and Keyboard Maestro)? Does it operation in a way that'd let you to auto-stop the playback before the very first video, playlist or not?

I have the same monitor. unfortunately, it doesn't control hardware monitor brightness using DDC, but uses only software method by adjusting brightnes of picture displayed. you can see the slider work only in range 0-50% and it does not work in range 50-100%. you can see it also by checking brightness settings in monitor's menu - it won't change. None of other similar utils works with this monitor for me.

For $3 "Mac Mouse Fix" now fixes everything plus has a few extra features that are pretty nice like smooth scrolling, keyboard modifiers, and being able to switch the function of the buttons with a simple scrolling list. The 'click and zoom' feature is a bit glitchy for me but everything else works.

Thanks, this does not work for me. I drag that extracted documented which is downloaded from github into my packages, and check Preference/Package Settings/View in Browser, and found Settings Default is empty. I tried to press ctrl+alt-V, this cannot let me open chrome. Then I copy the code in that extracted document and past it into View in Browser/Settings Default and save, still Ctrl+alt+v doesn't work for me, ctrl+alt+c doesn't work either.

I'm thinking about this option. I got a magic mouse last year, but it sucks. It gets laggy when I'm working and I've tried everything to make it work with no success. I want my money back... lol

Youre a king Jonathan! No more magic mouse for me. I day trade and magic mouse is terrible for moving within charts. A third party mouse with a wheel is soooo much cleaner. Now I can use a third party mouse with mac functions. Love it! Thank you!

OMG it worked but....still there is a problem when downloading from youtube; when u download from youtube the video still look 100% the same but,.....when using your method for facebook it makes the video colors less vivid!! :( , at least it does't fuck the quality like other methods that are non youtube-dl related
