Watched this at cineworld yesterday (7/9/24) and it was the BEST movie ever

I remember seeing this as a 12 year old in the summer of 1995 and loving it: I watched it several times in the cinema and bought the soundtrack and VHS. I watched it for the first time in a while today since it's being shown in UK cinemas as part of a Batman season, and it's still my favourite. I'm not saying it's the best, but it's so nostalgic and holds a special place in my heart. I love the score and the colourful visual style. Re-watching this on the big screen nearly 30 years later, (as someone who's now 41😔), the opening and closing credits were some of the best and most nostalgic moments. Also, it's sad how this movie has become relatively forgotten and lumped in with "Batman and Robin" as a terrible film. I don't know about the critical reviews, but anyone who was around back then will recall that it was a massive hit.

The Ending with Batman and Robin Silhouettes running is the most epic scene in cinematic art history.

I remember when I was a kid we saw this in the movie theaters and I was amazed by how Batman and Robin were running at the end! Also, I just had a flashback when we started to get up and exit the movie theater when the credits came up! 🦇

I was watching this one and remembering: next year, it's gonna make 30 years since I went to the movies for the first time in my life. And this was the film. The silhouettes running towards the screen with this score is the scene that I will remember as the first one that made me get goosebumps.

I never saw this movie in theaters. But everytime I see the end credits, I can imagine what it was like for people to see that Bat symbol while the musice played the words went up.

Say what you want about Joel Schumacher, but Batman Forever showed the most evolution for the Batman character ever put on screen. By becoming a partner and mentor to Dick.And by teaching Dick to let go of his own rage issues. Bruce learned to evolve his mission from Batman the vigilante at war with crime, to Batman the superhero and defender of the lives of Gotham citizens. His mission became bigger than dealing with his personal trauma. He wasn't Batman because he was driven to be Batman to seek vengence. He was now Batman because he wanted to be Batman to save people.

You see "Wbd", i don't think Your movie did a good job of capturing the euphoria of what was really happening to me. From my directors cut; I was going for more of the euphoria of me fleeing my homeland, or black guy named Eric running barefoot with the wolf's motif lol 😂. With that being said; im still taking classes at "DETG", or as the humans call it, " The DEGA motif." If the board of directors at WBD is still interested in teaching me about the moving making industry, contact the WFBWBLA, and EPS agencies for my resume

I was looking forward to seeing this so bad when we went to a triple feature at the drive in. I ended up seeing the three worst movies of the summer back to back. Brady bunch, then batman disappointed me with the whole robin batman fighting over the girl gayness, arnold with the cheesy mr freeze one liners, and jim carrey in spandex as the riddler. OMG!!! The credits played with these shitty songs, I remember hearing this stupid kissed by a rose song which I hated cause my mom would let it play all the time on the radio. And all I had to look forward too was powerrangers which I knew was gonna be terrible. And of course they'd have to play that cringe ass music video trouble. I was so pissed I wanted to walk home.

This is stupid but I'm an autistic teenager and this movie is one of my special interests (Riddler is my biggest one) and literally like nobody else likes it (literally a cashier today said the movie was terrible when I was buying a two-face pop) so reading all these comments from people talking about how much they love it/how they loved it as a kid/how much it means to them is really nice! Even if they're all from like 10 years ago. Glad there are other people that love this movie as much as I do!

As I can see memory everybody would get up the theater leave out, this is a great moment after seeing this movie.

I am definitely thinking about doing a Facebook page and Facebook group petition to get all four of the Tim Burton and the late Joel Schumacher live action Batman moves completely restored and extended and also eventually released in the cinemas and also DVD and Blu-ray and 4K too. I know that a lot of darker was cut and deleted from the final cut of the movies and it would be very interesting for die hard Batman moves to finally see all of the deleted and cut scenes in the cinema and home media too. Good things come to those who wait as the old saying goes. Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything. Do good things for others and good things will come to you.

It is time for a completely extended cut and release of Batman Forever (1995).
