I fished it as a young lad, big bream pretty much every cast but that was on the float. Never actively sought out the carp on that place though.

@@henrilowe6321 it’s hard to get through to the mirrors in that place, full of long lean commons. Regarding bait, 10ish boilies over each rod until i get a take. Top it up on the recast.

If you didn't want to broadcast it all over why did you make the video I don't get it. Its not hard to tell where it is and I won't say. But do you not think things like your videos are spoiling lakes like this and I mean completely no offence to you in any way!!! I'm a hour away from stoke these days and since RUclips and social media posts some waters have really suffered, quite day tickets and park lakes have gone tits, you've got to book 4 weeks in advance to get on the speci runs water at the local complex that 3 or 4 years ago no matter what day you will get a peg. I enjoy watching the videos don't get me wrong but how do you feel social media has actually affected fishing?

Matt Stokes, it’s fishing it’s socks off mate. Getting a lot of angling pressure though due to a lot of people been out of work because of covid.

@@CraftyCarperYT yeah its the case everywhere. I went Gorsty Hall last Monday but itd been battered over the wkend, i blanked!!! Usually have a few there in a day session. Im fishing tomorrow but unsure of go Forest or the Swamp

Matt Stokes, if it was me i’d drop on Forest park if it’s not rammed. Swamp’s easier to fish in the winter when the weed dies off. But that’s just me mate, i’ve not fished holden lane enough to get a proper feel for the place.

Ended up coming Holden Lane. Stuck to it and had a 21lb mirror about 3pm. Pretty much had the lake to myself since mid morning.
