Here we come Be Kind Rewind fans! So glad to hear about this!
A tad too melodramatic to my liking.
You did a fine job with the choice of music and how you used it.
Taylor Swift brought me here
The hat worn at the end of the film by the actress playing Anthony/Clive's wife is a hot mess.
Poor Clara. May you rest well.
If you don't think this story is stupid, you're missing the point.
I never knew Gilbert Roland did silent films.
My first time seeing a younger Hedda Hopper on screen
Gary Cooper.....such a beautiful man.
I don't know how with this film was allowed to degrade so badly. Can't this be restored.
Brilliant!
I love the way Clive Brook, who usually portays proper English gentlemen, gets passionate here and really grabs Clara with a strong embrace. He's 'beautiful,' as Hula says!
44:05 how do they get like that?
20:56 that's how you know she's hasn't been drinking liquor!
2:23 miss Bow said "FUCK"
Your right, I saw that.
Man, I would have fallen for her hard if I had met her back then. Such a beautiful STRONG woman❤️❤️❤️
Not one of her best films.
Clara Bow lights up the screen with everything that she created. Many thanks for sharing this heartfelt story. Liked and CONNECTED!
Beautiful movie. First time watching. ❤
Wow ! Thanks!
1:00:37 For those who struggle to read the letter Kitty wrote, this is for you (spoilers ahead) Jean- Last night I realised what it means to live without love. I've only brought unhappiness to all of us. I can't go on living. You can Ted belong to each other, Jean. It's all so clear now. You should have been the mother of his child. Goodbye and forgive me Kitty
thank you !
You're an angel, thank you!
AMAZING, At 21:12 22:39 25:15 a very young Clark Gable!!!
Clara Bow on her co-star Gary Cooper: "He's built like a horse and he can go all night."
😂
About 45 minutes in, I had the video freeze for about 2 minutes, has that happened to anyone else? It's a marvelous film otherwise, thank you for uploading this. ❤
It is wonderful this picture has been saved. Sad children end up together as adults... very touching story. Clara Bow really had a lot to offer in pictures.
dark side of the moon was better for this than this horrible music
Ghastly music
At least it has music, some don't.
Dames! Can't live with 'em - can't live without 'em!
Gilbert Roland and Clara Bow became a couple off screen on this film. Nothing against Donald Keith, but Gilbert had the better looks. This was pre Paramount Clara Bow. About a year before she became the "IT GIRL"
He was the one true love of her life. He wrote to her always after - this letter he sent to her when she had a nervous breakdown decades later and was in a hospital. Gilbert was a gentle beautiful man. Hello, Clarita Girl: I am truly sad that you don’t feel well. Sometimes when I go to church and I think of you, I say a prayer. It will be heard. God hears everything. You tell me that you long for your boys. I share your feelings. My daughters are with their mother in Wiesbaden, Germany. And there is nothing I can do, except cry a little once in a while. I hope someday they show “The Plastic Age.” It would be wonderful to see that dancing scene, you and I. It would be pleasant seeing how I looked when I was your beau and you were my dream girl. It would be pleasant seeing that. And then it might be very beautiful, and suddenly it might be very sad. It seems you are in my thoughts. It’s good to feel that way. It’s good I have never forgotten you. God bless you. Gilbert”

Seeing both Gary and Clara acting together gives me life
Considering divorce was taboo in that era. I can imagine this flick raised eyebrows!
Also suicide was a taboo
Whatever IT was, she had it. Loads of it ❤
I see where legends of the fall found it's inspiration
💝💝💝💝💝💝
Amazing actress. Too bad they changed the Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie movie 'Babylon' to fictional characters instead of Margot playing Clara like it was originally announced.
Yeah but no one was really happy about the casting anyway. Hopefully this means someday they’ll make a movie solely about Clara Bow.
That movie was shit glad they changed that clara deserves a good movie not shit like that
I wanted to see it, but read about gross stuff that was in the film. I like period based fims. Hopefully, wil be a biopic on Clara someday, maybe Roland as well
Esther Ralston shines in this one...........
Hoooooo Clara ! Meravigliosa e indimenticabile , un vero tesoro del cinema Hollywoodiano ! Grazie Clara IOT'AMO.ROSY . ❤💔💔
What a wonderful lady she was - so modern. And what a good friend Monty was. Great movie. Love these. So pleasant to watch, thank you 🙏🧡🥰
What beautiful handwriting and storytelling. Love this. I love the acting style with their eyes and just everything. Everything is so stylized and detailed. So crisp and clear. Thanks for sharing 🧡👏
This might be my favourite Clara movie now, and I thought Esther Ralston and Gary Cooper were great too!
Thank you so much for these pearls
Meh
One of the greatest films of all time and the music I love too
Have got every DVD of hers that is available would love someone to find some of her lost films sure someone out there has must have 1 or 2 she should still be regarded as one of the greatest actresses of all time I LOVE YOU CLARA
Based on her talkies (contrary to a persistent myth, she made the transition) what a loss to cinema that she retired so young.
You've got that right my friend. Ive known who she was all my life, but i started watching her films on you tube and i cant get enough of her. This is unbelievable....She is unbelievable!.
you are so right and she still deserves to be regarded as one of the greatest actresses in my opinion. What a Legend@@doopil
