I successfully installed openwrt on my proxmox server. I can access openwrt and am able to config it successfully. I do plan on running the "arrs". I created a new network interface.. So now I have two. vmbr0 and vmbr1. I have successfully setup openwrt to use the vmbr1 interface. With that, I have a VM created with ubuntu server on it and all my "arrs" running. I go into the network settings of that VM and change the network interface from vmbr0 to vmbr1. I successfully pull an ipaddress from openwrt. Perfect thus far! From the ubuntu VM running the arrs I can go to console and ping google and also pull nslookup. Again perfect. But now, I want to access my arrs running on this VM and I use the ipaddress that I have assigned from openwrt and the proper port number, like 9696 and I can't reach my arrs anymore. I can ping the openwrt gateway and ipaddress What am I missing here? I've tried to play with the firewall rules and can't seem to figure this out. Anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.

@@martyg2333 Hello! There are 2 ways. 1: Log into your router and make a static entry there. I have not tried converting everything, but as far as I know, you should be able to convert most things!

Thank you for this video! Very easy to follow. Only thing I would add is that you do not have to wipe the drive (@4:00) as you can just click the ➡ under storage, file systems to mount an existing file system so that you do not lose all you precious data.

Happy it helped you out and thank you for the feedback! When I set it up I had to do a full format because it was previously used for Windows, but I should have made that clear!

I plan on making one for adding to LXC or linux server doing it completely in terminal, but that's a bit late for helping out now.

Hello! I'm happy to hear from you! I'm good. How about you? For now I have a few smaller projects I wish to do, but i should be done with CCNA instructor training in August which takes up quite a lot of time outside work. I don't have any plans for the long run at the moment. I have a few ideas for ways to go with the channel, but have yet to sit down and actually make a proper plan :-)
