We visit HIstoric Gruene, Texas to buy some souveniers before we head to Colorado. Gruene is home to the Gruene Dance Hall, the oldest in Texas and the restaurant that was built from the remains of the old grist mill. Many of the original buildings remain. The Guadalupe and Comal rivers are nearby for the aquatic recreation.

We finally arrived in New Braunfels, 2 days late because we extended in Allen to allow Jullie to recover more. We visited our storage, shipped Balikbayan Boxes, visited my Granddaughter and her parents, and ate at some pretty good places for food. Little did we know there would be another urgent care visit.

We finally cleared up the problems that were keeping me from leaving the Philippines. We said our goodbyes, for now, to Jullie's family and headed to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. You are no longer required to get a covid test before leaving, one less task. We are flying Japan Airlines to Narita Airport and after an 11 hour layover, on to Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport.

I visited the Silliman University Farms stand and bought some eggs. They normally have eggs, rice, vegatables, chicken broilers and cow's milk. Unfortunately today they did not have chicken or milk. The eggs looked very good and I will go back later for more and for chicken and milk!!

Some views have asked why I didn't buy a car even though it is much more expensive than a motorcycle or a three wheel vehicle.
