I grew up surfing in So Cal and moved to Portland a few years ago and have been wanting to get in the water up here, especially after seeing so many empty lineups. What water temps and wetsuit thickness are you using in the summer?
@@biosfearmag Washington and the northern Northern coast actually get fairly different water temperatures. Especially if you’re talking about northern Oregon coast most famous spot called short sands where almost no matter what the water is pretty dang cold and you’re definitely gonna need to be in a hooded 54.the Washington Coast fluctuates through the summer. Sometimes you can get away with a hoodless for three other times. You’re also wearing a hooded 54.
@@pnwpovsurfer_ I was hoping the 4/3 I'd use in the Bay Area when I lived there might work but doesn't sound like it since most of my time will be on the Oregon coast. Thanks for the feedback.

Sharks wouldn't be a concern this far north because it belongs to the Orcas😂

Just bought this board and the Axel Serrat 34 inch complete. I haven't had a chance to ride either one. I'm 50 years old and decided to get out and skate again. The Arbor line up is cool, looking forward buying another one from them. Good video bro.

that place looks amazing. I drove the Oregon coast last year and didn't see any beaches like this, at least not from the road. I'm guessing this is more north, i was west of Eugene, not sure which beach town that is, all of it is beautiful though. :)
