120 year old Southern Railway No. 630 climbs the grade between Allied Metals and the tunnel as it crosses Tunnel Boulevard.

Our former Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway GP9 No. 710 is seen here rolling alongside Stephens Street on a westbound run into East Chattanooga. This historic locomotive was built in 1950, and as of 2024 is the oldest operating diesel in our collection. You can ride behind this locomotive on many of our trips, but it is most frequently seen on the Missionary Ridge Local.
