What torque specs you used for filter housing, pan and internal filter?
I love doing that to my wife Everyday we go out I open her door I don’t care if it rain ing or not , or snowing I take my time to open her door, why because my love for her is so deep , beautiful that the way you treat your love one if we are mad for some little or big things I til open her door! Because I love her , with all of my heart !!!!!! In Jesus name !!!!! Amen !!!
Thanks for the video from a Cape Coral Florida boy!!! 😊
@@heinzbox492 Awesome, hope it helped!
saved me about 900.00 thanks again!!😊
@ How good!!
attention to detail, best brake video I've ever watched, great job mate!
@@melaniecannata4740 Thankyou!
I agree , I like to keep my gear looking like new . Makes for a much nicer working enviroment
I did this on my 2019 Outlander Sport (U.S. name) 2.4 liter engine and the paper filter is not easily accessible. A metal engine brace and engine mount need to be removed just to access the housing. Oh, the rubber O ring is not sold separately here in the U.S. It 's sold with the metal housing that covers the filter. I used Amsoil CVT fluid and noticed an immediate reduction in noise when flooring the gas pedal.
At 3:00 what’s that plastic cover that you took off called? I need a replacement. All my parts are exposed.
@@ChasiubaoYumYum Its just the belly pan. No biggie if you don’t have one as its almost like a cardboard/fabric material so I think its only for aerodynamics
Thanks for showing the struggle with the hydraulic filter. I'm looking to buy one of these soon and I'd like to know what I'm in for as far as maintenance goes.
@@DaD8801 Apart from that stupid tight filter the rest has been easy as. They are a pretty simple machine to maintain!
Great Video mate ! I will be making a few coming into fire season now. Just a little tip, when it comes time to change the engine oil, just use one of those little handheld vacuum pumps, beats pulling the engine out. keep em coming.
@@ollieholditfullon Thanks mate, yeah i like the vac pumps but it literally takes me 15 seconds to get the motor off! Plus i reckon you get more oil out by pouring it as you can tilt it in all directions to get every drop.
How well is that CVT fluid working for you? Any better than the stuff from the dealer? The stuff from the dealer would be the same as Nissan NS2 or NS3 depending on how old yours is, My 2017 Rogue Sport would take NS3 which from the dealer is green. I ask about the Titan CVT fluid you are using since I do like German brands and have also seen Liqui Moly Top Tec 1400 for low prices from various online retailers. Top Tec 1400 is their CVT fluid. Make sure to get 1400 or you might get regular ATF by mistake and kill the CVT.. Fuchs and Pentosin are OE suppliers to Volkswagen and possibly others.
@@charleshines5700 Its going fine mate, we are up to about 140k kms so nearly time to do it again lol
Great video mate. Q. Is it OK to keep the little pump (wx10T) running while you drive to the next plant to water? Cheers
@@shanehillier7622 Thanks mate. Yes pump can run all day as long as there is water in it.

Good video for outlander owners Can you do some more videos on your outlander I see you have upgraded your tires etc
@@frasermillward1996 Thanks, yeah the tyres are slightly bigger than factory and also all terrains. We get around 90k kms out of them which is way better than the highway terrains. I have a light bar video install video up also 🙂
Excelente explicación
Thanks for making this video!
@@jeremyferg271 Cheers!
Couldn't you just change the cartridge filter and call it done? That's the filer that catches most of the shavings anyway. Dropping the pan seems so much of an ordeal.
An absolutely top video. All clearly explained. Well done!
I noticed you went with a simple hand tighten on those pan bolts. By chance do you know what to torque specs should be? I’m doing the job soon.
Hola como estas? Me encanto el proyecto!! Tendras los planos y especificaciones de la motobomba y demas cosas. Saludos desde Argentina
great video and very informative, especially in regards to the 2nd filter. Much thanks.

@@markrevell937 Awesome mate!
Excellent video! Extra points for showing the part numbers. Cheers. 😁👍
@@SLYDIT Glad it helped!
Hey mate we all start somewhere I'm sure eby now you have a good grasp of it. From what I could see you're immediately removing your torch tip from the puddle. You need the gas to cool the tungsten before switching the power off to the torch. You're burning up your tip each time leaving it to oxidise as well as the end of your weld. Just hol the torch with gas flowing at the end of your weld for a few seconds till your tip stops glowing. As others said just learning to create a puddle without filler rod is a great start then get the filler rod in when your puddle control is running.
Yep, I have definitely learned a lot more since this vid!!
Anyone have a part number for the rubber ring for the smaller filter cover?
How is that fluid working? Per the directions, looks like a drain and fill is about 3.7 quarts of fluid, i.e. 3.5 L I ended up putting 4.5 quarts in. I think last time the tech put in 5.5…
i would go with the same as Nissan 50k trans service an seals Australia will be able to match that rubber o ring

Don't forget the little turn-ey knob on the torch lol 😁 Great video, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks!
I am 100% certain I would suction the oil out.
The bearings need ten thousandths play, the best way to adjust that is to bolt the wheels on. Then spin the wheele and tighten the bearing nut until the wheel won't spin, then back the nut off as you spin the wheel. Put one hand on the top of the wheel and one on the bottom move back and forth spinning the wheel adjusting the nut as you go. When you get the play to where if you tighten you feel no play, and you loosen and feel aliitle play you got it right. I've been doing this for 61 years. This will save you time and money.
How about the Oil transmission in Radiator/Cooler? Dont you change it?
Hey mate, great video! My transmission just started playing up. The revs fluctuate and today when i tried to take off at the lights it was gutless then all of a sudden changed through the gears (auto lol) I checked the level and its well below the C. Question... will it be best to do a top up only. Or do a fulll drain and topup like you have. Its cvtf-j4
