3:10 My only guess on why the vortigaunt has tau cannon animations is because either: 1:They’re placeholder animations from HL1 for the vortigaunt attacking 2: a vortigaunt was maybe meant to show you how the tau cannon worked before the vort mounted the tau cannon onto the buggy before you started driving it during the Coast/vechile sections Though I could be entierely wrong

The dying animation for the poison headcrab was probably removed because ragdolls existed and it wouldn't make any sense for the poison headcrab to have a animation for that.
