    It's been a while, but I was wondering why you left the gap between the side of condo and the platform at the bottom. Is there a purpose for this space? (ex @9:27)

    I'm thinking about incorporating a fold-out desk into a floor-to-ceiling 9' tall x 12" deep bookshelf-----24-36" monitor, and a shelf above the monitor for a computer case to sit. Adjustable peg hole shelves through the whole thing. I think I'd try to find hardware hinges though cause eventually those straps will wear out.

    • @makesandskates
      @makesandskates Месяц назад

      It's got a slight bit of sag, but not that noticeable. But I have a lot of that strap left, so I could just replace it every couple of years (or install a shorter one so when it does stretch over time it'll stay mostly level

    Not that I could do any of this but just the waiting for the glue to dry would make this job difficult 😂

      This attachment has lasted me over 18 months now (and still has plenty of life left) and has saved me time and money on using sanding discs, which gunk up easily and have to be regularly replaced. I also reduce waste by investing on this!

    I like the fact that you use basic hand power tools that the average home handyman might have. Too many of these videos show you how to make "stuff" but then the guy showing you how has thousands of dollars worth of high end equipment that you don't have unless you're a professional.

    I never got a sense what it looked like in place. the bed is basically blocking the whole thing. What was the point if you can even see it? doesn't help me since I won't be blocking my radiator cover.

    Nice project... BUUUUT! You're either going to lose fingers or you will lose a hand, or you'll trip and fall to the blade or... sooner or later. People, don't do what he's doing. There are better ways to work without being in danger :(

      Appreciate the advice/warning. This was early into my woodworking journey and I didn't have a viable way to cut with my table saw (no proper stand and too high on my work table). I did eventually get a better table saw with a stand and I perform safer cuts now. 👍🏼
