This is guide for glitches is useful for anyone doing a max level difficulty

System Shock was such a progressive game that it even had a journalist difficulty in 1994. Great speedrun btw, enjoyed the others too.

I think what makes this even more impressive is that this is the DOS version. No modern controls, just the pre-WASD era controls they give you and that crunchy 320x200 resolution. Well done.

How much do you think some of the tech changes for the dos version? I'm going to try and speed run my original DOS copy on original hardware. Just going to be difficult without mouse look support.

This is the first speedrun for this game I've seen, and... Treating walls as suggestions. Using reloading and weapon switching to bypass attack rate limits. Using the demodulator early. Respawning on 6 from the groves. (Had no idea you could do that.) Ignoring the transmitters. Long-jumping to the center of Level 8. Getting a V-Mail while in cyberspace. XD ...I knew this game was broken, but this... this is beautiful.

Currently playing through the game, 13 hours in and just finished floor 6. Seeing how speedrunners just glide through areas that I was in for hours is certainly an experience, guess this is the true power of the hacker's implants. Also, amazing explanation of a very dense speedrun, one of the best commentaries I've ever seen.
