Restore visually, great. What worries me, is in the search of woke, dialogue is altered so no offense could be taken. And so ruine the biting satire.

As a body of work, the Warner Bros. cartoons are the most satisfying, the characters the most iconic. It's incredible that the Warners themselves didn't appreciate them (Jack Warner once famously said "All I know is we invented Mickey Mouse," but then none of the studio moguls cared much about their cartoon units), but fortunately the fans and the restorers do.

This cartoons makes me think of the Powerpuff Girls episode, “A Slight Hiccup”, MGM has used it’s cartoons, especially Tom and Jerry, for Cartoon Network in the 90’s.

It might just be a consequence of YT's compression but it seems there's a decent amount of black crush in the restored picture. Dark details visible in the unrestored version such as the subtle details in the jacket of the sledding boy are invisible in the restoration. I maxed out the shadow detail on my TV to ensure it wasn't an issue on my end but sure enough it made no difference. surely that's the opposite of what an HDR restoration should achieve. One of the formats biggest advantages is the greater amount of near black tones allowing for more shadow detail to be retained.

I use to watch Winnie the Pooh all the time when I was 6 years old and I still love the movies of them and even Christopher Robin movie. Pooh has a very big heart and tigger was very funny and enthusiastic. And now I’m 19 years old almost 20 years old and I still love Winnie the Pooh movies. I miss Sterling Holloway. He has the best Pooh voice in the world.
