Where in the van do you put the tranmission fluid???? Is it in the front or do I have to take off the middle console part to access that.

Hi - Based in the UK and just bought a 2000 sportster and had the issues, where the flashers came on and didnt flash with LED's. Strangely the Hazards even with LED's flashed perfectly fine. I installed the relays and fixed the turn signals which now flash, but with the relays installed, the Hazards dont even come on - did you come across this?

Worst thing I ever did was let my van go, I bought it brand new off the show room floor, drove it for 15 years and sold it with 140k on it. I let a friend and his wife take it on a 1400 mile trip with their family just before I let it go. Now I'm trying to find another one 10 years later.

Always good to pressure wash all the dirt and rusty flaky stuff. Make's for better working. Definitely would have changed out the brake hose.

I did one of these hondas a couple of years ago, if you cut it of at the front theirs a j shaped pipe going into another chamber and rinning to the front of the atv and back out to the back, the j piece of pipe had come lose but was made of good thickness of steel, i tacked it back in again, the Honda's need a bit of back pressure as far as i read. Have my own to do now, Great vid, thanks from Ireland.

Your gona need a new charge controller when u get the new battery

What i've noticed is the ceiling under my panels is cool in the summer. I forgot how hot the skin of a vehicle gets and the added layer of a solar panel prevents the skin directly underneath from getting hot. When i started insulating my ceiling i started in other areas and not under the panels. Your van has a finished interior so you may not notice this, but mine was an empty skin and it was quite noticable. It was a fluke for me, i just touched different parts of the ceiling on a hot day and my fingers noticed it. With small panels you may or may not notice an improvement in your interior temperature. In the winter it's the opposite, there wont be sun warming up that part of your roof in the cold weather.

You can get Lithium batteris that have heaters built into them so below freezing weather is not a problem!

I've been scouring RUclips for the last couple of years learning about all things RV life as my plan is to live in a bumper pull trailer. You folks from Canada amaze me. You seem to adapt well to cold weather. My question is, do elderly people from the "Great White North" grow tired of the cold and the snow? If so, what then? I live in Northern Michigan and I, like many other people from the States can escape the frigid temps by heading south. I used to love to ski and play in the snow as a child but not anymore. Our long winters have me wanting to never see another snowflake as long as I live. Winter is for the young, so again I ask, what do the elderly do up there???

Fantastic. Why not go with lifepo batteries with internal heating? I assume you have a place to plug the van in when you're not using it. I'm not as lucky so I'm sticking with agm for now.

Can you bypass the module with this fix. My 93 1200 has this problem can't find stock module. And it is 250 $

How’s it holding up. What are the parts called that connect directly to the highest point of the front k frame? There’s points on each side the highest mounting points above where the control arms connect to the subframe.. are they cab mounts?

Nice work! I’ve watched couple of your videos and its good to see that somebody does real repairs also compared to youtube being full of “camper” conversions that just throw bed into van somehow. I’m also just now doing bodywork on my G20 van and changed rear leaf springs and axle to G30, that involved making new spring mounts. Maybe I make some slideshow of it sometime.
