No comments, really❓😱 😎 played for 8 years ago 🤠 In German it called "Die Eiskönigin" 😉
Amazing work Ian! 🎉
I really enjoyed playing this game. Thank you for being so creative and sharing your work! I look forward to the full game
Would you mind going into more details on your texture process?
I do plan on making separate videos going over the texturing technique I use. There’s quite a lot involved, so it deserves it’s own series 👍
So cool!
Love the Viking!
That looks great! Nice job.
Wow this looks cool.
Could you teach me how to do it, greetings from Chile
Can you show how you make the muppet felt shader? Please and thank you.
Impressive work as always. Great testing and debugging tip.
Nice
awesome work
This is awesome! Well done
i love the love machine. what a genius implementation mate
Nice devlog but what is the premis of the game story or gameplay and stuff like that❤
Thanks 🙏 The main story in this game is that you’re going to be an ‘undercover puppet’ trying to solve a case, but more on that in future dev logs 😊
@@Ian_Lindsey WoW really nice concept actually❤️
Whenever you mess with the characters personal bubble, I get an image of this game being a Airline Steward simulator and you control various things that annoy the airplane passengers, throw their luggage out the window, push a buffet cart etc.
Messing with the puppet is a perfect example of an intrinsic motivator 👍 I’m liking the idea of the airline - that would make a great game. However, in this game you’ll be an ‘Undercover Puppet’ trying to solve a case - more on that in future dev logs 😊
[]-)
Awesome 👍
Just came across this game. Fun Tutorial Arrow is a great character, and I love these quality-of-life features like the X-ray shader when the important object falls behind another object, and the machine screens are cute too! If this project needs a composer, I'd be excited to help out!
Thanks Mikey - it's still quite early in development at the moment, but I'll keep you in mind if I need music in the game. Do you have any examples of work?
@@Ian_Lindsey Yes I do have some examples, here's my portfolio: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1STLzJyedqRPDrTMZ9lIF7quZDkZ19U9r There's some boss battle themes and some level themes. Not a lot of variation in my portfolio, but I can do a lot of different styles. I'm currently making a Japanese OST for someone's game, for example.
Yes, I've got a demo reel on my channel. It's my latest video so it should be super easy to find. (Sorry for the late reply, RUclips has not been giving me comment reply notifications lately.)@@Ian_Lindsey
It just keep getting better and better!
Thanks Victor! 👍 There’s still much more to come!
Your Videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Can I talk with you Lan?
That door handle *chefs kiss*
That door handle was literally the last thing I put in - I was building up the suspense 😂
@@Ian_Lindsey excellent, best for last
I want to play this game! It's looking fantastic.
Thanks 🙏 There’s still a mountain of work left to do - but I’m aiming to release it this year, so hopefully you won’t have to wait too long.
Me encantó
I like the puppets how they move their hands
Glad you like it 😊 The puppet is animated by recording the controllers and headset, see Dev Log 6 for how it works
@@Ian_Lindsey I watched it already
I can see there's going to need to be several more dialogue lines for violating the bubble. 😂
That personal bubble is going to pop one day!
Love this concept! Very inspiring to see the entire workflow through every part of dev for a VR game, Incredible
Hey, that's looking pretty good
Love the personal bubble!
Everyone's got one! 😆
Good devlog just it don't get more views try adding tags on the description "#devlog" and more
Thanks for the tip - I've added some tags, so hopefully more people can find it 👍
@@Ian_Lindsey but you need to add tags also on uploading the video go to the bottom press more and then scroll until you find Tags
Amazing!
Cool stuff and great voice acting from Beard Or Die! I'm looking forward to hearing more about this.
Stay out of my bubble! 😂
'Don't be weird - cut it out!' 😂 - Great stuff 👍
Just amazing!
👍 looking good. Maybe two of them can get into a scrap. Might look pretty funny with those jiggly physics. 😂
I landed here from your Hotel Dev log, but as a Tim Minchin fan, this video totally caught my eyes. I'm having a blast picking out the different songs.
The custom shader and your Blender+texture packing/atlasing workflow looks super powerful. That's all stuff that hurts my brain. What you're able to get running on headset with great performance is astounding.
10/10
sweet
Looking awesome, I love the little slider for different bench machines
Amazing Ian, Space Panic was one of the most impressive entries of the jam !
Thanks Valem - you’ve made my day! I’m a huge fan of your videos and currently working on a brand new VR title as we speak 👍 Beau-ti-ful!
💐 Promo-SM
It's a little weird because the piece doesn't include the melody line for the most part. It's more like a backing instrumental. Nice keyboarding!
Beautiful I’m happy to stumble across this video
im revisiting ur vid after many months and this has too little views im going to cry. life's not fair, your vid need more views.
This is cool! But honestly, you're name's Ian too so I'd subscribe pretty much no matter what haha
