Just wanted to share my views on the car after two weeks of ownership and also my reasons for going for the Fiesta over the FOCUS.
Would you say this would be a better product to use to underseal your car than lanogard?

Great job, I've got a 13 year old Focus and I need to get under to clear some of the rust. Should have done it last year but kept finding reasons not to. Previously I've used Lanoguard, but the more RUclips I see, the more I often see Bilt Hamber being mentioned, and many swear by it.
Thank you. I wanted to re do it last year but I never got around to it before it got cold. It’s seems logical to me to do it on a hot summer’s day so the car can dry before you seal it. I’ll make a point of getting under there this summer for sure 👍
@@chrisfouracres1 Yes, I wish I had done it last August/September. Now I am struggling as where I live and park is not ideal, need my neighbours to be out so I can jack up the car, then I want it to stop raining. Still fingers crossed we'll get a bit of decent weather.
Coated the rear axcel and shocks on my Bmax . Brilliant stuff . Very pleased with Dynax UC. Combined with good prep and rust conversion using Hydrate 80. ❤

I have a mk7.5 and a mk8 fiesta . The mk8 feels like it’s to wide and the ride is to firm .

Hey 😊 I’ve just bought on hp a fiesta active 1, 8000 miles £12500 with deposit, having had to give up the red Astra elite 2015 the car I wanted but clutch failed they put a new clutch in it got stuck again 🫤, anyway does the fiesta good ness knows what mark it is lol have a digital speedometer? I’m really lovin the Astra with its tech and comfort and golf but pricey but settling for fiesta. ❤and congrats
How’s the dynax holding up
I had the wheels off the other day and it all looks good under there! It’s nearly time to do it again for the winter. I think I’ll take the wheel arch liners off this year and do under there too

Love the mk8 as it got me my licence! My only complaint with the mk8 is you can’t have it in that lovely blue that the mk7 came in.

@@chrisfouracres1 Yeah man sounds good. I’m a bit like you really, sensible dad rocking an ST (mk7 fiesta). I always go for mountune stuff as I like the warranty safe options. Would you ever go for the mountune m260 upgrade? I’ve always been really tempted, so many cool things to upgrade with though lol. Thanks for the reply anyway bro 🤙
@@adamjones8503 if budget allows then I would like to end on M260 yes, 100%. The question mark would be if I needed a big brake kit as that’s a big price tag. I’ve looked at other tuners but I haven’t yet found one which gives me the confidence that Mountune does. I still love the mk7. I’ve never driven one but they just look great on the road!

Funnily enough I've got a Fiesta ST3 Mk8 and a 2014 M235i. They're sooo different to each other but love driving them both. The Fiesta is what I'd describe as quick and nippy, love the triple cylinder engine note under load, handles well. The M235i is a monster, the N55 sounds amazing, even standard they're properly quick., it obviously feels more grown up than the Fiesta but also more lairy if pushed! Obviously the M235i costs more to run but amazingly I get 33/34 mpg average outta mine

Been looking out for a reasonably priced mk8 st for around a year and the prices don't seem to be dropping. 69/20 plates are pretty much the same price as 12 months ago.
Yeah I guess the prices will hold because of the universally glowing reviews. The good news is the price should hold on anything you do eventually buy - hopefully 🤞

Yes I agree, I’ll be getting the Mountune map when I’m ready. I know it’s not as fast as other but I’m completely confident the engine is safe 👍

Mountune isn’t the cheapest stuff but is always nice and tidy looking, they always have their 12 days of Mountune in December where some good saving can be had as well, if they have the stock though. Keep up the good work.

How do you empty it? I can see how you dip it but how do you empty it?
Oh you just have to reach under and unscrew the bottom chamber to remove it and empty it. But you probably not need to do that once an oil change or so 👍

Are the ST badge inlays also dark grey same as the ford logo ? Just got my mk8.5 so the rear lights already darker. Was considering carbon fibre back colour for ford badge with black writing.. but like yours. So undecided
Yeah the greys both match. On the website they have a colour guide so you can colour match all decals you want. The 8.5 lights are sooo much better. I’m considering buying a set and swapping mine out, I honestly think they make a huge difference. I’ve peeled the tint off my lights now as it bubbled twice, I had it re done but bubbled again. I think they’re a tricky shape to wrap.
@@chrisfouracres1 that's the problem with the mk8 lights. I tried to film mine but just bubbled up after not very long. Was happy when got mk8.5 and it had them fitted. But due to chip shortage no longer have electric mirrors which is crap. Like the content so far. Its the little mods that make the big differences. Look forward to your future videos .

Took my Saab Aero wheel liners out - 05 no rust ! Applied Bilt Hamber wax protection to all areas - dirty job took about three hours for one side - luckily had lift made it so much easier - doing other side on Monday - car has also been Waxoyled - one Bilt hamber product has long lance ideal for doors and inside sills - great stuff 👌

I've been looking at this car for a while, I have the Fiesta Active, I already love the interior, the ergonomics, everything is in its place. My goal is to have this ST3 in the near future and keep it as long as possible. For the moment I am saving a little so as not to put much more. I had a Puma MK1 125hp which also made me smile, Ford makes fantastic cars I'm really sad that Ford is discontinuing the Fiesta, it's a fantastic car. Everything you said, I agree. Great video did you see the youtube of JB CTR who had an ST3 too?

Hi. What consistency is the 5l of Dynax UB? Could you pour it into a normal hand pump sprayer and spray? Thinking of buying the 5l as its better value than the aerosol cans. Thanks.
@@steffanjones3446 Hi pal. I would say it's too thick to use in a sprayer. I diluted the product with a bit of a white spirit and then applied with a brush. It takes a while to touch dry, definitely a few days, but it finishes black which is nice. It was a bit of a mucky job but applying 2 coatings has worked very well.
@alfredox-dawn1890 Thanks for getting back to me. That's really useful to know. I'm debating between whether to stick with Lanoguard or using Dynax UB. The 5l seems good value but don't know if its too much hassle and whether i should use the spray can in the video or the 1l pot. The lanoguard grease and spray was easy to apply but I don't think it lasts much longer than 6 months.
Great video I’m 62 going on 25 and bought a st line 140 brake 6 months ago and love it I’ve convinced my missus to have st line and I pick up my black st3 on Friday and can’t wait

Wasn’t too keen on these at first because I’ve seen some awful colour match ups like the black and red Ford badges on a spirit blue ST but now I’ve seen them on yours, you’ve convinced me these aren’t tacky. These look super tasteful. Just got a full set for my silver fox coloured ST!
