A Walk in Singapore Housing Estate HDB flats, from Canberra to Yishun, Street view. POV
Most of the tourists will not be visiting our housing estates...they will be at our tourist attractions. 80% of Singaporeans stayed in HDB flats* (shown in this clip). Taking a walk from Canberra to Yishun (north of Singapore). Ended at Northpoint Mall. I know Yishun, Sembawang area very well as i had stayed in this area for more than 10 yrs till 2014 or so.

In this clip, sharing 2 commonly used words in Singapore.
1. "Lepak one corner" is a Singlish phrase, mixing Malay with English.
Lepak One Corner (means relaxing or idling)... Lepak is found in Oxford dictionary, it is a Malay word.
2. Abang (pronounce as Ah Bun, not bang, but bun sound the same as how ...

My neighbourhood hawker center received the award on 4 Nov 2024, now the place is more crowded, people from all over Singapore started to visit recently. Singapore's buses and ambulances are so cool. Is Yishun Columbarium the same as a tomb?
@@scoscofield0623 yes columbarium is where the ashes are kept...people can go inside to pray (if their late relatives are put there) this is within the neighbourhood area, flats are just across it...everything is pretty close together, due to our small land size.
