My channel is about standing up for yourself legally, it could be police or DVSA interactions or the many Civil Money Claims I've taken on, I look at things from a legal point of view and simplify things, I'm not legally trained but my advice comes from my own personal experiences and legal cases I've taken on without the need for a solicitor. Any subject you would like advice on I'd be happy to make a video about it. My best results to date include taking a debt company to court and a telecoms supplier so look out for those videos coming up.

I did some recording at MG dealer who says they will never speak to me again about a faulty driveshaft as it's a "characteristic" of the car and not a fault. A fault that MG have attempted to fix previously. Why try fix if it's a characteristic?

I had the same problem with Chorley Nissan in Chorley. My Nissan Leaf had a brake squeal which they said was a feature not a fault!
If it was a feature then they should have made you aware when you made the buying decision, the legislation says, it's all wrong
That’s what you get for buying Chinese shit.
I'd have taken the matter to court under the consumer rights act.

Yes we had a fault , repaired at dealer , on mg instructions , dealers said you did not buy from us we don't want to know , warranty ? The repair was done ! But the dealer said not warranty and charged us
@@ianholmes1468 MG offer 7 year warranty, not worth the paper it's written on when they refuse to repair your car, where you bought it is irrelevant as long as it's an MG dealer they should fix it at no cost, sorry to hear this, why not do a small claim? More small claims stuff coming on my channel soon
What car have just put out a "ten worse cars" video for reliability. I think 2 on that list were MGs and MG were classed as the worst manufacturer.
Any problems and they go out of there way to persuade you there's nothing wrong with the car, 4 visits and 5 months to accept the fault , then u turn on the repair
Why would you even expect a cheap chinese car not to have any faults?
Going back now so I learnt the lesson and will stay clear in future

Ok, I like the MG4 and it's top of my list for when I change. Well, it was. Back to the drawing board and Kia/Hyundai
I bought an MG4 Trophy around a year ago. I have had no problems and I consider the car good value for money.
@@DavidJohnston58 the car on the face of it gives a lot for your money, after sale in my experience its horrendous, I heard from a neighbour Kia's warranty claim was great service

This can often be a problem with Chinese cars. They don't have as much development as European models, and sometimes have odd driving dynamics.

"What Car" reader survey just made "MG" the least reliable brand, with over 50% of buyers finding faults, "MG" paying for only 33% of faults, and many faults meaning the vehicle was off the road for over a week.

When it goes back I won't be buying an MG that's for certain
Vibration in steering? try turning the AC system off (LH button) and see if it stops. I find the heater / Ac is audible when outside the car, and it drives a refrigerant compressor, so there could be some vibration from that. if it goes when AC is off it's that, otherwise it's a bit of feedback from the electric power steering possible. I get the same on my BMW with AC on.
@@gathonar its more than steering, throughout the whole car. It's a driveshaft issue
WTF!! Why is the owner throwing personal accusations at the Dealer without simply SHOWING THE DEALER the WRITTEN DOCUMENT - HE CLAIMS HE HAS????
@@ptrsrrll the dealer was shown the document which he was aware of anyway as the parts detailed on the doc were ordered previous video shows this, please take the time to update your self

He can't honestly say he doesn't recognise it as a fault. And if he genuinely wanted to fix it and believed MG had the fix, why is it not fixed?

I've seen another side to MG , I like the car but not everything that goes with it
I had an MG6….. remember them? No? Probably for good reason. When it was 5 years old I took it to two dealerships over several months who both said to scrap it as no parts available… crikey. Was told by MG UK themselves to look for parts in a scrap yard… wild times. I ditched it and never felt better watching it being driven away.

Got rid of my MG4 after it took the dealer 3 months to fix a charging fault.
I had 5 1/2 months of them denying car had a fault , now I know why, there told to by MG

Go get em ! Exact same responses I am getting too. Make sure u use Ai to find all the relevant laws in your region , hunt down the key area of law that is being broken, then of course have a lawyer check it for u. Then simple process, theyll back down if its a lost case. They will drag it out hoping u will take off.

@@civilcasedismissed Have you contacted consumer groups or official bodies like The Motor Ombudsman - I also have an XPOWER with vibrations.
Not contacted those as yet, I will be looking for compensation though due to them knowing that xpowers suffer with this at the point of sale and there instruction is too actively avoid repair where possible

You have the same rights even if you can't afford the Audi, recognised fault that should be fixed or the car gets rejected

@@civilcasedismissed Thanks for not actually answering my questions. A lot of people seems to criticise the police, but when asked what they wanted the police to do, they've got nothing. Why didn't you handle like an adult, rather then relying on other adults in uniform to sort your problems out.
I answered, don't know where it went, the finger never happened and the threats part of the interaction should be dealt with by police, min public order offence

Same all over the country , unfortunately they only deal with facebook now . Assault isnt a priority or any other crime . They are especially good at helping bailiff's take homes from people. Any police reading these comments just have a look at the thousands of videos of police abusing powers on RUclips.

Me comentan que están esperando una pieza del soporte del motor delantero, parece que le cambian un poco la inclinación del motor y que se resuelve el problema de la vibración, no sé.
MG are not honest about what stage they are at with fixing the vibration, a few owners have had a steering damper fitted but I know that this doesn't solve the problem only mask it or try to mask it. My car is having it fitted tomorrow but I've told them it will not help and I won't stop till all the problems are sorted , the other problem with them is random steering interventions
I have experience working with AC vector motors, particularly in robotic CNC applications. In these systems, all motors require a feedback loop to maintain stability; otherwise, they will oscillate. This process is known as tachometer feedback, gain control, or sometimes response control. It generates a feedback signal to enable closed-loop control of the system. In situations where there are two sets of motors-such as front and back systems-one may interfere with the other, and the tuning will differ between setups. This can also be the with steering mechanisms. If the gain is set too high, it can cause overshoot; if it's too low, the system will be unresponsive. A major issue with Chinese robotics is that while the technology and software are often copied from European or American sources, there is little understanding of proper software tuning. Most systems rely on self-tuning software, but if that software isn't properly configured, issues like this are to be expected. Thinking the MG when cruising should be just using the front motor.

@@civilcasedismissed That makes sense to me if it gets worse. I look up servo motor tuning on Google. How to tune a servo system? Here is the basic approach used with step response tuning: Initialize the I & P terms to zero, and set the D term to a small non-zero value. Increase P from zero until the system overshoots and shows an underdamped response. Increase D until the oscillation is 'critically damped'
