It's going to be hard to get any better than Unleashed 1 & 2 of course, but I tell you what, this game holds up really well when upscaled. If I didn't know any better, I'd almost say it was a newer game, like dare I say, PS4 even lol? Great game to play no matter what though!👍

You could do the Roadslayers next. They each have their strengths it seems, perhaps along the lines of the Rammers. Some cars I'm curious about are not pairs. For example, Boomer RS or Sunrise Super vs. Gorbie.

I use manual w clutch and half of half and I still feel slow? You zoomed of the line in the starbeast ss on pine hills on the start of the race 😮

A question I would like to ask is are you able to show all your cars as I feel like I’m missing a dlc or something 😊

I believe there's a car called the Bandit, basically the Bandit Ripper without the teeth and blower and junk, and it was only available to early access players. It's quite rare to see one being driven in game.

Thumbnail had me thinking Wreckfest had been remastered unbeknownst to me.

I was so disappointed when I found out I couldn't get the "Bandit Ripper" on the PS5 version, but then when I bought the game for my Steam Deck and found out I could drive it on there, I was one happy camper, that's for sure lol! It's definitely not the best performer in the game but by golly she can hold her own and it's just hella fun to drive!😁 Great video though.👍 It would be nice to see WF2 release before this Christmas but realistically, I wouldn't be surprised if we're looking at 1st or 2nd quarter of 2025, you think?🤔

Now that you may be back with Wreckfest, the RUclips world could use more of these. One thing you could add: maybe some general suspension tuning suggestions for the specific needs of the tracks. I know each car is a bit different, but general guidelines could be useful.

Strengths of Wreckfest for me? 1) Car selection. I'm bored with every racing game being full of US muscle cars, European exotics, and JDM sports coupes. While Wreckfest has these, they also have the Ford Granada, Escort, and Taunus; Rover P5B; Fiat 850; the Lada (my favorite); the Volvos; and Saab 96. This is part of what makes the game unique. For Wreckfest 2 I hope they don't bow to the US consumers that only want Mustangs, Corvettes, Firebirds, and Chargers. Maybe they can add a few more along the same banger line, such as Ford Ka, Nissan Bluebird, Mercedes Benz W124, Austin Westminister, Jaguar Mark X, Australian Ford Falcon sedan, Nissan Micra, Renault Megane, and Opel Corsa. 2) Tracks. I agree, they are great. All of them. 3) The racing. I know that this game has a reputation for realistic crashes and damage; however, to be honest with you, I don't care much about wrecking, but the racing is the best I've seen in any game. I keep trying other games and returning to this one because the racing is so damn good. Pay to win? Yeah, some great cars are available for purchase, but the only DLC OP/meta car is the Raiden. The other two OP/meta (Hammerhead RS and Super Venom) can be won in Tournaments. Some players shame Raiden players and even hunt them in online racing. I'd say none of the other DLC cars are clearly superior to the Starter & Market cars. I also play FH5 and one thing that disappoints me are the tracks. Many of them are long, straight runs with gentle curves--for players that get scared when they have to turn or brake. The few technical tracks they have are quite good (I really love Cathedral). The FH5 Rally Expansion tracks are a whole other story--really well done, but the lobbies there are almost always empty. Anyway, I got bored with other players in FH5 just making speed builds that can't handle curves (yawn) and returned to Wreckfest. You're spot-on with the livery creation. I love to design my own logos and liveries in FH5. However, I understand that by restricting the variations, the game can be less memory-intensive. I hope Wreckfest 2 will improve on this. I'm glad to see you have a standard color scheme for your cars. I do too.

Please keep going. I love comparison testing. I do it often. I'm really interested in the effects of adding armor. I have some faster lap times with fully armored cars vs. stripped versions of the same car.

The dragdog is so nerfed that it's barely controllable but it's the fastest car in theory.

1:39 I was actually curious so I looked this one up. I could have swore on a stack of bibles that it was turbo charged, but no apparently. According to the AMG website, it is, In fact, naturally aspirated. So apparently there are versions of the AMG GT that have not yet been ruined.

To make matters worse for Jump on the Jam, there's two or three vehicles BEHIND the parking garage, in the tiny gap between the structure and the large ramp from Return of the Semi. It's only possible to get to them in the PS2 / Xbox releases by getting the slowest possible start. Those same cars also sit there in Return of the Semi. Earlier versions of Revenge allow for more physics tomfoolery, which let me hit the buses at Smackeroni and still make it all the way down. By extension, I managed to get all 84 cars in Drain Damage, perhaps the largest junction where this is possible.
