awesome video! i started making and wearing cloth pads back in January of 2017. I love making and wearing cloth pads. I primarily use soap and water to clean my cloth pads. It's hard to keep my pads stain free.
Am I the only one who's Mum started them on cloth pads. I've rarely used disposables apartment from that one Holiday when I didn't bring enough cloth ones and had the buy disposables.
Very relatable! Thank you for sharing
LOVED THIS VIDEO!!!!
Does it help pcos?
I converted! So far so good! Thank you!
I’m gonna get started making them! I have very horrible cycles I’m 45 yrs old and my gun said there’s no sign of menopause anytime soon ! Omg i wis love to use cloth paper towels , I’ll atkeast give it a try !
Did u make the covers too ?
My mom got me period underwear about a year ago and have used them for overnight which had been amazing! Zero leaks compared to using a pad since I move too much in my sleep, plus way more comfortable. I just started my switch to cloth pads, I got a small set from PIMP 40%off and they worked perfectly just as absorbent as the Always flex foam I have used for 10yrs. I did end up using a flex foam the first day since it was heavier than normal and I didn’t have a compatible cloth, but after that the cloth did just as well. Now I need to round out my collection so I don’t have to hand wash between days. I will say that my period underwear and the cloth pads did have a smell but less so than disposables. I look forward to seeing if the smell changes or if my cramps reduce as I completely stop using disposables as opposed to a combo. I am working on switching all disposable items to reusable (and plastic free where applicable) but it is a slow process as I use up what I have.
❤️
Thank you for this Christian meditation! I found your page from a recommendation from your cousin’s RUclips, Jay Highsmith Production.
Great video!
Cloth pad are comfortable and the best less cramping and I’m glad I made the transition to them

This was amazing! It gave me chills! It was a little hard to hear you in the beginning though. Thank you for your obedience and example of what God stewardship looks like!!! You inspire me!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ *Awsome As Always* *_”Meditative Music”_*
I enjoy hearing you two sisters life experiences growing up with a mentally ill parents. It shows that people are not alone dealing with this. Both of you two sisters was still able to keep a blessing perspective about life. That things will get better if you dont give up. Even with the up and downs of dealing with a Parent that may not of always be in her right mind. Having no dad in life unfortunately. Yall still was bless with the will power to want to better yall lifestyle. And not take out yall anger on everything in life that good. Yall still seen the beautiful in life that God made for us to enjoy. I can agree with you sisters. As a child and teenager now adult. I build somewhat of a comfort to not trust people. My mindset was get close to people things go wrong. I Push them people away from me first. Because I fear hurt. Even if, I was wrong I rather push someone away then give a apologize. Growing up nobody in my family barely did apologizes. So my family had a lack of remorse for each other. My family care more about having a big egos most of the time. Dont get me wrong, there are a few kindhearted people in my family. But they got taken advantage of. Kindness in my family was taken for weakness just like being mentally unstable. So, I also grow up push in people away rather than discussion and sharing my problems I had. At a young age like the both of you two sisters I learn to keep my emotional problems trap inside me. . What happens in family stay in family. So I witnessed my mother get abused in many bad ways. And never said a word to nobody. I just got fearful, bitter, build serect anger inside me, and got jealous of happy family's. Not realizing it millions of people in the same situation. So growing up I felt worthless with low self esteem. My mother did try her best to guide me in the right direction. But she was to soft on me. Because of her past hurt. she did buy me many nice things with her disability checks. But as a child and teen I thought with brainwash mind by the devil my mother mentally retarded. I don't have to pay her much attention. Because all my family members mostly share with me mental illness was like curse. So as a child and teenager I was ashame of being around my mom. And didn't want to listen to her wisdom for life. I felt she was unstable to tell me what to do. So I give my mom many hard times and sleeply nights. By being stubborn and rebellious running the streets like a lost soul being hateful to myself and others. Now that I'm a adult but still feel like a broken boy inside sometimes. I came to reality that God may of bless me and others with mentally ill parents to grow up with deeper compassion and honor for are love ones. That can carry out in to this world to glorify him. I can admit I still struggle with being around my mom and being around people. But by the power of God I'm not how I use to be. He bless me and my mother so many ways. So the 3 good things I learn, value your parents care and wisdom , hate doesn't fix problems, opening up emotionally is beautiful it ok to be wrong, and to forgive..
wow thank you for sharing your testimony with me !!! That is truly miraculous! I hope to jump into more content soon. I can share with so many sentiments you shared like being jealous of other famil's happiness. WHEEWWW!!! Pushing people awayy! Lordt. I can relate. I realized that I identified too much with the circumstance in this world than my actual identity in Christ. I had to realize that I was experiencing these things but they dont define me. IT is really difficult to separate the two, especially as a young child/adolescent. Thank you again for sharing with me.
@@PurposefullyTasha thank you too

This is WINNING!!💕
Thanks friend !
Wonderful video! I am in the process of converting back to cloth pads because of money and also sustainability reasons. I didn’t know that it also had a health reason, and it’s a bonus. You video is very helpful. Thank you!
You are so welcome thanks for watching !!!
Love that you’re shedding light on this ❤️
Thank you
Thank you! Loves this! Im just starting..can you do a stash video? I would like to see more of this. Or maybe, WIWTM video tht would b so great!
I just find your Channel and really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing.
I’m am converting and trying to convert my 22 y/o daughter also. Can you do a video on how many cloth pads we should get to start? And how we wash 🧼 them? Thank you!
I sure can. I will give you a typed explanation now just Incase I go into labor. But I would suggest 10-12 mixed absorbencies to start with. Do you have a Facebook page ? I can add you to my group so you can see a quick clip on how I wash them.
Yes I do have a face book look for Stephanie Allen
@@theniasia33 Awesome! I tried to look for you what does your picture look like.
hi I don't have facebook. Will you put that information here too please. I'm now switching to cloth pads. Are you selling the too.
@@PurposefullyTasha my pic looks like the one on here.
Can you make a cloth pad stash video?
Sure I can
Where did you get your pads? Which was was the most absorbent?
I make pads for myself!! I have made all different types of absorbencies.
Do you sell your pads? They are beautiful!!! Thanks for your videos!
What's your favorite sewing pattern to use? And how many pods are in your stash?
I dont have a favorite i love so many. But my favorite at this moment is the " JULIET". Believe it or not I dont't have many, maybe 20.
Been on them for a year. Honset it was because I got tired of wasting money on disoplables. And it cause me too much anxiety choosing the right ones and having to wear 3 to four over night ones each time. I had to get the overnight one and use at least 40 per cycle. So the cloth ones suit my flow with the length. Just wearing one overnight pad now for 6 to 8 hours instead of 3to 4 for maybe 2 hours like with disposable is a miracle to me. Hearing the health benefits is a bonus.
Wow that’s AMAZING!!! I know stacking pads could not have been comfortable. What are your fav brands? Where do you purchase yours?
How did you ladies learn how to forgive your mom for putting y’all through that?
I don’t see it as my mom “put me through it” . I see it as what was done for me so I could develop into the woman I am today. For me it is all about changing my perspective. Also, it wasn’t my moms fault. She has a mental illness and to me she raised us up amazing better than individuals without a mental illness. So it wasn’t about forgiving my mom for me it was about accepting the cards I was giving and playing the best I can with them.
💖💖💖 amazing ladies .
Great video Tasha
I AM WHOLE INC. thanks
There are different types of pads that support different different users. I can replace my pads and liners with these. Pads can go up to 22 inches.
Yupp ! If you have any questions let me know
I have been using cloth pads for about 7 years and I love them!! I also make my own :)
Jade W I love making my own! I actually learned how to sew by sewing cloth pads. My first time using a machine. I can’t wait till I get to the 7 year mark. Have you notice any dramatic changes to your body and or cycle?
@@PurposefullyTasha yes! I am very allergic to disposable and I always ended up with rashes every month since I started using reusable pads I haven't had to deal with any of that in the slightest My cramps are less my PMS symptoms are also significantly less I don't get the headaches and nausea that would come with my period Anymore and my period Is more regular
@@geminiprincess007 wow that is amazing!!! Cloth pads can literally change a women's life
What are some of you favorite pad makers?
