    playing dress-up. look at me, I'm a Zen master... see, I have a robe and a doohickey on my apron, and everything. Chan came to japan and became Zen, but the japanese masters didn't wear Chinese clothes. Dhyana come from india and became chan but the Chinese masters didn't put on Indian clothes. what are they thinking ? what, are they thinking ? what are they , thinking? Just this. A finger pointing at the moon.

      If you had any idea about the history of Chan and Zen, you'd be embarrassed by the ignorance of your comment.

    I prefer the latter version: the Spirit of the ghost is balanced with the opposite understanding which is zen balanced, then the pupil challenges the Spirit on the Ghost by saying now save the Ghost because their is the understanding of the Ghost and the balance between them..?

    Reality as I perceive it, is always a personal delusion - so in reality as it is, we are always one with our delusions.

    If you're still there teacher a point of perspective is pick up a leaf and find it's front back bottom or top. Then when you find them the whole perspective of the universe can be seen from that leaf.

    To reveal a koan is the same as to explain a joke. Useful to the mentally retarded but pointless for the rest of the world....

  • @tchaffan9998
    @tchaffan9998 4 года назад

    Very mental approach to something much more transparent. Everyone is a ghost and doesn't even know it. That's the great emptiness of everything. Once it is seen, the ghost in you can repeat its usual patterns and be seen for just that. The ghost is then naturally allowed to be as it is, without a new for change, it is therefore saved. The teacher puts to much emphasis on human beings, reinforcing the notion of self which is the opposite of such koan's objective...

    Thank you kindly 💚 This might sound hard to believe, but I've just seen that Sri Avinash in Australia is now transmitting the enlightened state to members of the public, he calls it the satori transmission. 🙌 People are experiencing a taste of enlightenment because of him within minutes. It just seems so rare and precious that I had to share about it. He's full on doing it. Go check it out! #sriavinashsatoritransmission 💛💚

    I like where he says he's fortunate to think about his impending death. You have decades to live, but only a single moment to die. Living is cheap, death is what has value, because it only happens once
