A month ago I bought a 2025 Honda CR-V AWD to replace my trusty 2010 RAV4 V6 AWD that was totaled by a drunk, and immediately put CrossClimate2's on it because I go over a 9,300ft pass to work in the mountains. I've only had it in the snow once so far to work (put them on JUST in time for the recent storms!), but they seemed to do pretty well, only slipping slightly a couple times, once when I gave it gas on a steep icy (from the plow) uphill to test it but it was no drama, just something I felt, no correction needed. Turns out I should have had it in Snow Mode and it might not have slipped much at all. I'm heading to Durango/Silverton/Ouray this weekend to try it out in some more snow, so, hopefully with these and Snow Mode it'll plow thru it all like my old RAV (with lockable center diff) did. You know what the best part of this video is though? That proudly waving Trump flag! Yes, We The People are going to Make America Great Again! Let it RAIN salty liberal tears!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It really doesn't count since you are actually using a Forester and you've got good ground clearance. I noticed a tad bit of slippage so that tells me they will not do as good as a real dedicated snow tire but they are definitely doing a whole lot better than a standard all season
По такому снегу можно и на всесезонной резине ездить. На вариаторе ездить по большому снегу не очень удобно. На механической коробке, да на отличной шипованной резине, вот это УДОВОЛЬСТВИЕ 😂😂
I ended up putting Falken Wildpeak A/T Tails on my Impreza, but I think these Crossclimates might be my next tires. I don’t really go off road other than gravel or dirt roads and the Crossclimates are lighter, so gas mileage should be a little better.
I bought a used 18XT last month and was shopping for tires.. realized a week later it had these Crossclimate 2 installed already 😂 felt like i hit the jackpot.
Just curious as to what kind of vehicle & did they get noisy as the started wearing down? Did they drop your fuel economy when they were new? Trying to decide between these & Defender LTX M/S.
@@FWRXSTER Agreed. But if you've ever actually used True snow tires, there's a Huge difference. Just a major hassle these days. Back in the 70's, your local gas Service Station would switch out your summer and snow tires. Those days are long gone.
@@FWRXSTER the Dueler H/P Sport are rated as summer tyres here in Europe. The thread pattern is actually pretty average, not sure if the model differs in the states
They're definitely one of the best all seasons you can get. I've had those and the Goodyear Vector Grip 3 gen and they were equally good. They are the tyres used by the employees of the sky resort I usually hang around. However, I wouldn't recommend you to try this with them. You never really know what's below the deep snow and ice can get you stuck fairly quick. They are good tyres but not bulletproof.
I hear nothing but good, actually great, reviews on this tire. Glad to see how it actually bites into the snow instead of just someone talking about it.
It’s truly lives up to all the hype it’s the only tire I ever had that does. And it’s not just now it’s the rain. It feels so planted in the rain. Even if you hit a lot of water I’ve never felt scared and it feels like you are riding planted on the road instead of above it if that makes sense when you’re in heavy water not only that but it’s supposed to perform down to 2/32 I guess we’ll see I’ve had them for about 40,000 miles in there at about 7/32
Probably gonna get these for my 2011 Toyota RAV4 when the time comes for new tires. I want a high mileage tire that will still perform well in the snow and from everything I’ve seen I think this tire is the best option that fits both of those categories.
Tires seem excellent. But I’m not impressed with the Subaru’s performance in the snow, kind of surprised. Maybe it’s the limited slip, I don’t know. My 2016 Lexus RX hybrid plows through 2 feet of snow like it’s dry asphalt with cheap dealer tires. I ordered these Cross Climates, should be insane now.
@@Rafikny Ah, the CVT in my rig? I don’t know if it helps or not, but I purposely tried to spin out turning traction control off, and it still would just grab and go effortlessly. My rig aside, that Subaru you have is an excellent vehicle! My wife had a 2014 Legacy, and it was great as well
MAKE DRIVING GREAT AGAIN
Dude doesn’t need a plow, he is the plow.

got my like just for the trump flag in there.
LET'S GOOOO!!
These are even great with fwd cars, awd is overkill 😂
Go figure, a Trump supporter douchebag would make a video like this

For that conditiion you need winter tires not AS.
Anyone know if these are any good off road ?
Hopefully that 2020 Orange convicted felon and rapist flag is not there now :)

We have these on our forester (diesel manual) here in the U.K. we don’t get much snow but plenty of rain in which these tyres excel also 👍🏻🇬🇧
You could have put a plough on the front, then the landrovers could use the road
Love this!

is that your flag?
The only tires for my Crosstrek for sure
piss on that trump flag for me pls
Now try uphill.
Love the Trump flag ✌🏻
Why didn’t you make sure it was dead first you evil badtard!

I have them on my Civic and they're amazing in snow/winter! They last long too. Michelin does it again!

Best kind of book 🤣
I love these kinds of videos
Thanks for making this video. Had my wife watch and got the ok for the new tires. She also got a Subaru Forester.
Fluffy snow on frozen ground. Try this in wet snow on wet ground.
That’s the sort of sh!t snow we get in the U.K. (if any) it’s rarely cold enough for nice powder snow. Great vid 👍🏻🇬🇧
An inspiration
I put 80k miles on these tires even though it's rated for 60k.

Нормально, но это пухляк) с дачи так после снегопада и выезжаем, обычная импреза на тз коробке справляется ))
любая машина так проедит
traction control needs to be off in this condition.
по такому и моноприводная поедет
I’m on my 2nd Forester and Still have Not had to use my X-Mode! lololol And I’ve never put snow tires on it. Just the All seasons that came stock😊
Really? Here in Europe they came with summer ones (Bridgestone Dueler)
Bridgestone Duelers are all season tires (at least here in the US)

oh so you're the person i get stuck behind who is driving 15 under the speed limit on the winding single lane road for 30 miles. nice setup dude!
Just put Michelin Cross Climate 2 on my 2018, I,imagine this snow would not be a problem.

Gotta question the intelligence of anyone flying that flag.

Clean some of that me(a)ga dog shit out of your yard. Really distracts from the video. Also this is all flat, packed, and frozen snow.
what was that blue flag?
I would've liked your video. Until I saw you support a traitor.
How's life under Brandon been?

Not impressed🤔❄️
I dont appreciate the speed of the video. Why alter it?
That's impressive. I am considering getting this tire, so I'm grateful you've shared this. Think I'm sold. Thanks.
I love your flag😎🇺🇸
