😂 they misspoke. They were talking about the two liter turbo because it's not twin turboed it's twin scrolled basically is one turbo with two channels. Basically it acts very similar to a twin turbo setup. Even auto manufacturers like BMW, and Audi have gone to twin scrolled turbos instead of twin turbos because it saves space for packaging and it's just literally more efficient.

With 348hp id expect 0-60 under 5 seconds. These things are not very fast.
Different tires simple tune up on engine and little bit of dampers would be good for it to make better times on tracks would also help rather than streets

Definitely not a slow car for the price. And the price as in fairly cheap. Automatic standard stock 2.0 t 4cyl even is a quick car. The scion frs Toyota 86 subaru brz are quick cars but not fast and they are naturally aspraited around 200hp medium length wheelbase with 50 50 percent weight distriubition. And the genesis coupes are more luxurious so way more but weight distribution is still very close to 50 50 but not as good as the slower brz 86 and frs but the base level engine fully loaded stock is still faster and handles almost as good. Making over 200 and with the r spec it handles almost better in race mode let alone way better in driving mode. Then you Can get the base large naturally aspired 3.8 v6 model which pushes the car to over 300hp and last but not least you can get a 3.8 v6 r spec which is even more better handling performance driving and more looks while still having the fully loaded option. That and the genesis coupes being rwd is definitely a way better evolution of the tiburon. Gave us two engines like before but way more performance a boosted 4 cyl and another 6cyl n/a but alot bigger I believe over a liter bigger plus added rwd instead of only fwd with car small enough it's light but heavy enough and big enough it has alot better rear seat for young adults or even normal adults and looks better. Price is good a little more but not much. Winter driving isn't great but not as bad as the frs models in rain or so which they can't be driven daily in most areas especially Canada tiburon still was way better daily driving but was less power fwd etc. That and genesis even had top of the line Racing specialist models for both engine options which made them really awesome like a tiburon Tuscani model vs a gt. And definitely better than a Wrx and imprezza for speed fun and handling. Just only thing that sucks was that hyundai didn't sell alot of genesis coupes unlike the tiburons which sold alot alot. Probably because of the price being a little higher and alot of people buying standard models and the rwd people buying used models can't drive stick and are too scared to drive a rwd couple in the winter. Even though the genesis couple v6 stock or even 4cyl stock let alone r specs was a cheap enough cars fun enough car fast enough car you could drive in year round or afford a second car even if you were working second to minium wage. It was one of the best buys and fast forward what 10 years little less or little more and Toyota scion mazda Subaru Ford bmw audi Chevrolet Honda etc doesn't have any new cheap quick affordable to buy and fix cars like the genesis coupes. Closest thing is the bmw 330is 335is audi a4s Ford mustang gts and even those are alot more expensive more expensive to buy and repair, rest of the imports arent sports cars or if are there closer to economy vs sports car or are crazy more expensive. Only the frs brz 86 come close and they are over a decade old and still haven't made a decent engine let alone multiple engine choices let alone at a decent price. And mustang tried and true is still good but over priced way over priced compared to the genesis and are made alot weaker for daily driving let alone fall spring slight winter driving. And the dodge Chrysler's are muscle cars with alot better certain areas but insanely expensive. Our future Nissan 350z and 370z and Toyota supra maybe a decent replacement if and once the price drops considerably. It's been a long time before we had multiple models of affordable pony cars, luxury cars, trucks, like we use to like we invented s10s sonomomas canyons Colorados, Tacoma, rangers, Dakota's which were a truck built half the size body, engine, seating, features, quality size, everything in order to sell for half the price of a half ton which makes sense for everyone. But unfortunately manufacturers ended up making mini trucks super luxurious and doubling the price that instead of say 17k for one when a half ton base model work truck is 30k not the mini truck is 39k for a base model and 50k plus for a luxury model making it the same price to cheaper to buy a half ton truck and Recieve a engine twice the size twice the capability twice the metal twice the options etc, muscle cars pony cars sports cars now most are economy cars that look sporty but aren't or are full out muscle and sports cars super fast and luxurious but crazy expensive no I between and the make and models which bridged the Gap were dismounted, like Pontiac plymouth mercury Oldsmobile which took a base Chevrolet base dodge plymouth and a top of the line luxury Cadillac or Lincoln and top of the line performance Chevrolet corvette Chevelle ss dodge viper Ford Shelby gt500 luxury models like Cadillac Fleetwood Lincoln town car chrysler imperial vs base models plymouth satelite Ford crown Victoria Chevrolet impala Chevrolet Nova Chevrolet Malibu. To people who started with the cheap fleet vechiles upgraded to say the Crown Victoria to the fully loaded mercury grand marquis then later to a Lincoln town car or continental and dodge start out with a plymouth satelite or dodge coronet 4 door base model then upgrade to dodge charger r/t dodge superbee 440ci or 426ci hemi or plymouth hemi cuda or gm drive mid size to large luxury car start out with a 67 impala 4 door base. Then you upgrade to a two door super sport model with styling and big horsepower then later on you want a Cadillac deville or Fleetwood with performance and luxury but still out of reach so you take a stepping stone you go to Pontiac and Oldsmobile where Pontiac you can aquire a large 2 or 4 door sedan with most luxurious options a big block engine beautiful styling or for luxury instead Oldsmobile offers you a fully loaded mid to full size Buick Riviera so you aquire the Pontiac grand Prix instead of the lemans and gto because the gto is too expensive but amazing performance, and the lemans is just a cheaper model and the grand Prix gives you full size car luxury interior big block gto engine and you set for the whole family and a beautiful fun to drive car and alot better than the impala. Then one day you can afford to upgrade and you either can get high performance Chevrolet Nova small fast nice car and affordable or spend more and get a upgraded Malibu Chevelle ss ls6 with 5 to 6 seater. Or a second car a corvette 2 seater top of line performance but only having room for 1 car but being a car guy and having 3 kids a wife a baby. You decide you want something powerful nice to drive lots of room luxurious ride for the family and a statement style car. So you purchase a 1975 Cadillac sedan deville. Which gives you a large car bigger than you're grand Prix heavier than you're impala but a bigger engine for highway cruising and acceleration top of the line luxury interior options and style. All while you didn't save for a car you just upgrade though a few years using steeping stone brands. Making companies alot of money and keeping you the customer happy and not over paying for cars and giving you lots of choices. Where today it's either economy or full out car that is a muscle car luxury car and maybe even a work truck all in once for the price of a house. Or a muscle car so performance built you can not drive it when it rains yet 50 years ago muscle cars could be making the same sometimes more performance with no electronic driving assists way better built yet lighter weight price at least 100 to 400% cheaper and the muscle car with the same power way cheaper no driving assists was still able to be driven in the rain the summer the fall the winter the spring without braking the suspension and all that crap. Now a days everything is 4 times the price everything is built for easy driving yet you're unable to drive the car daily yet alone drive it daily with the car not falling apart

Yo 3.8 Track is quicker at 5.2 but tops at 149. The ultimate edition 5.9 seconds but tops at 162 miles an hour. Track with aftermarket intake heat shield you can expect better performance numbers
Track is only quicker because it has less weight, ultimate is just track with all the luxury stuff added on. If you do a weight reduction to account for the sunroof and power seats they should line up more or less

around these months, good tyres, after dinner with fresh air and road still warm by the sun, managed a 4.8 0-100 km/h, yes with the auto, 5.2 it's definitely easyer to manage
