Around 300kw, although the turbo was getting pretty loose on the manifold by the end of the event, so I need to redo the hot side with some better fasteners. Everything is sized for 350-400kW so I'm hoping to get it back on the dyno at DVS Tuning in the new year for a tidy up.

Rc Anonymous new gearing feels really good! RB30s don’t like revving too quickly and it’s got lifter issues I’m trying to fix but that get worse with limiter, so having a wider range of wheel speed in each gear makes it much easier to take advantage of all the torque it’s making.

Feels quicker in a straight line and drifting as it lets the slow-revving RB30 use its torque but it feels as if it's lost a bit of buzz in terms of not bogging or losing traction. Oh well, more power will fix that :P

Dave Carter sounds good man, what do you reckon you will have to turn the boost up to so you have the same power feel as before so you have no bog?

RespectedGaming it’s been on a pretty safe 300kw run in tune for the last year but everything is sized to make closer to 400kw, so it’s getting reliable enough to start pushing.

I was blown away with how many Cefiros were up there but we definitely could have used one more...

Thanks mate! This was the first track I'd been to with a sticky enough surface to actually need the 300kW boost setting so once the 3.53:1 diff is in (currently 4.08), I think it's going to be time for some more POWER!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the car mate! There are still a few more tweaks I'd like to make until I'm happy with it but when it reaches that point, sure, I could probably do a quick walkaround, might even tie it in with the retune and some stuff we want to do there :)

The majority of Australian drifters are scraping the bottom of the barrel and using the cheapest Chinese tyres for drifting, with the Nitto NT860 sitting above that as a high-quality entry-level tyre. My selection is quite limited in 15-inch sizing and as I like to use the same rubber all round, I used the 195/55R15 NT860 as my tyre of choice for some time, offering good turn-in on the front and strongly resisting delamination on the rear. I then stepped up to a 195/55R15 Proxes R1R and as you'd expect, it was much better in terms of grip and tread life, so I wanted to put together this comparison for friends weighing up their options. I do have plans to try the 205/50R15 NT05 in the future but will have to give the guards a massage and possibly add some camber to fit that size.

The setup is really settled in now, so it's good being able to just focus on driving!

RespectedGaming I'd normally run Toyo Proxes C100+ or Nitto NT860 all-round, which is what I'm using in this video, but I've recently stepped up to Toyo Proxes R1Rs on the front and now all-round because I liked them so much, very grippy.

Oh, and 195/55R15 all-round or sometimes a 195/60R15 on the rear for taller gearing, but I'll be changing to a taller diff soon.

It was a Holset HX35 on a Hybrid Performance manifold out of NZ that had been modified for better boost control with a Turbosmart 38mm gate, which turned out to be a little undersized in the end.

Stock bottom end, Permaseal head gasket, ARP head studs, Wade 818 cam, stiffer valve springs, that was about it

Just a good genuine Nissan radiator and a big oil cooler, pretty standard really. That's all I run on my Cefiro now but I've found E85 has made a massive difference to temps as my Skyline used to really cook being on 98, especially doing low speed stuff like this.

4.11 with an RB25 gearbox but have found I run out of wheel speed a lot with the 6000rpm RB30 rev limit and 195/55R15 tyres, so I'm planning on going down to a 3.58 out of an auto R33 if I can find one.
