Do i really need the spacers? Can i just modify the rails a bit to make them fit?

the anti drain back valve on the new s2000 filter is terrible. ever since they switched, i noticed my oil pressure light staying on for about 1-1.5 seconds. i told the parts guy at honda right away and he said he had not heard anything since they were still new. i stuck with them and about a year ago i noticed a light tick on cold start up for about a second. then it got worse. i did my oil change again 2 weeks ago and found my oil was very shiny (metal shavings). so i decided to switch to the purolator boss. first time ever using a non oem filter. and i have not heard a single tick since. the new honda oil filter reduced the life of my engine by idk how many miles. i will not be using another one of those mahle oil filters that they switched to.

I know this video is old, but I just bought a type s intake, buying the p2r lower runners, spacer and the type s injectors for my 3.0. Just wondering and hoping you could answer what gaskets you used for the lower runners and intake manifold itself

Mine is walking off the cams to the front. I took off the pully to make sure I had that spacer, I also have that same manual tensioner you have and my belt keeps walking.

What year type s are you taking off

Get the butterfly delete if you run the spacer

Oh yeah and my gas mileage is worse

How did you get the spacer to fit with oem fuel rails? Mine keeps popping off with the spacer

Got the same intake for my 03 accord, does it just bolt onto the j30a4 ? Also i wanted to take it apart but 4 of the allen key bolts stripped 😭😭

honda used to have a fatter filter used on the older cars like the cg5s but they discontinued it after they made a smaller more standardized filter. the small honda filters fit on pretty much most nissans too. aftermarket filters have the same part numbers for honda and nissan usually 4612 depending on the brand.

You look a bit too tall for the frame should look Into a 21.25 toptube with a 12.75 chain stay length, I think It be more comfortable I'm same height as you It's what I ride.

Where did you purchase the type-s parts from? I really want to put it on my j30

The stock j30a1 transmissions are like glass, mine runs and goes but after a couple pulls I started experiencing problems

Having some stalling issues when wot , and sputters at idle idk what to do replaced plugs and packs every sensor i can think of . Anything on this ive tried capping off fuel reg vac hose nothing , is there something up with the stock fuel rails on these cars

Hey for the lower intake manifold runners what gaskets did you use the 3.0 or the 3.2?

My idle is high after the swap, are you using the type s throttle body too?

Why not just use a dedicated engine flush, let it idle for 15-20 minutes, then drain the oil? Ive never heard of atf in the oil before, interesting. Maybe when my engine gets up to 150-200k ill try that. Although i dont have much faith in these L15b7 engines.

The S i think stands for Stant. They make replacement oil caps and gas caps.

Last thing, how much more volume is the s2000 over the A02 filters? For example my L15B7 is 3.7 qrts with filter. Would it raise it to around 3.9?

Will these fit on the L15B7's? The s2000 filter that is. Also FYI the usa filters the A02's are made by fram.

How did you adapt the fuel line for the type s fuel line
