We told our kids that Santa wasn’t real. I never decorated for Halloween, but I did allow my kids to go trick-or-treating. I never left them dress up as anything horrible it was mostly homemade things.😂 I enjoyed all the free candy.

I am definitely not a religious person, can never be. Not one person interrupts the book that was made by a man the same,, that’s why some religions believe its ok to “ blanket and abuse their children,” while others do not. With that though I would care less if someone does Santa or doesn’t , if they are their children trick or treating or not. I know Melinda is a kind soul, you never hear her judge others believes, that is how we all should be.

I did the same thing with Santa Claus for my kids. And they're 20 and 21 now. I told them that Santa was a pastor who gave gifts to poor people. And families have continued that tradition. I told them that Christmas is jesus's birthday and then I'm not going to lie to them. They have grown up wondering why other families have lied to their kids.

I know you enjoy writing and reading, as do I. Do you enjoy crafting? Sewing, knitting or crocheting at all? There are many variables in the craft world and it can be costly.
