YOU ARE WRONG You stated rattlesnakes have no purpose. all snakes have a purpose. For eating rodents and things of that nature. I grew up West Texas they rattle they let you know they’re around. They are scared of you as you of them. Lived with them my whole life never been hit because they always rattle if alarmed. Maybe not 100% of the time but most of the time, but they do have a purpose. !!!

Found it ! Just GPS " Lazy L& L Campground" . It's right on the River Rd, . It's a few miles from Landa Park in New Braunfels and it's starts out Sattler road just off South Access road at Canyon lake dam . Gps above should take you on it from either side . Not much open 11/7 but beautiful drive to see the rivers and get me to Wurstfest !

Hey Matt! Thanks for the video. How is the crime rate in NB? I assume when it's tourist season it goes up and the crime rate is probably better than San Antonio and Austin, but have you noticed a rise in property crime and/or violent crime? Especially with the border being so open along the Texas border.

I was really considering moving there, but, after your cons,,, don't want to hear the pros, thanks for the info! I'm headed to Florida!

I was born and raise in NB. Left there in 2013. Was just there June 2024 and there was definitely a huge difference.

This was a very Timely Video on "New Braunfels", it was like for me an Update on all the positive aspects of (NB) as I am currently in the process of Moving there, will be Relocating from New York and coming to the Beautiful Lone Star State, that being Texas. Have done my due diligence and have researched about NB and seen other RUclips videos on (NB) and is being guided by the Universe to beginning a New Chapter, New Phase and making New Braunfels the location of my new Home. I will be there in October officially, but will be doing a quick visit sometime later this month to tour some Luxury apartments there preferably the 78130 zip code. Do you help Renters with Apartments? (Btw)... Liked that joke about "Lake Placid)... not thinking it was the Lake placid from the Movie with Betty White, i was like Ooh oh 😊

I’m originally from Chicago and can confirm some texans are terrible drivers. Some people drive like they are in the movie fast and furious. 😂 I’ll remain in the far right lane until I learn how to drive like a Texan.

My daughter and her family live outside of Menard. Sometimes they have a huge population of feral hogs hanging out in certain areas and my daughter tells me that some rattlers have stopped sounding their alarms because it draws attention to them from the feral pigs and they desecrate their populations. Can you imagine rattlesnakes that do not use their rattle?

I'm so excited to see you putting videos up again! Almost two years for us here, and we still love it. We take 1863 to 281 for shopping and dentist appt because it's so beautiful and relaxing. Never come to this town, ever. I’ve been stuck here my entire life and it’s rotten with crime and lack of education here is destroying. My best friend and girlfriend were both shot here, and guess what, city will never do anything about it. But it’s hard to leave, it’s a nasty hood that has no opportunity for success. Go to New Braunfels. There are underlying pedophiles and drug dealers everywhere. Just stay safe.

There actually is a small bus service run by the city fir years now. Its stops at places like TLU, walmart, downtown seguin, library and a few others. Runs every day and its inexpensive. They are a few job opportunities with the city also and since the making of this video there have been dozens of new businesses opened.

Auston has family in Schertz and grew up there as a child and with Tabitha first visit to Texas this past April she fell in love with the area! So we hope to be Texans soon enough!
