@@elliesartNB we’ve never stayed in the family suite rooms but just this week saw one. They are a bit small for a larger group. They look fun but we really like two room suites. They have a few of those in the towers (Bayside and Beachside). The tower rooms in my opinion are the best for room space! They are also the newest rooms. For the musty smell, it doesn’t seem musty to me and my nose is really sensitive. I can see how some things are getting maybe faded but nothing major. Just normal wear and tear in high traffic zones. We stay in Dockside a lot too and tower 1 (to me) has a pool smell 24/7. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love that hotel, but it smells like people are coming in from the pool a lot. I don’t really get that from cabana bay. Maybe because there are so many entrances to the pool and you don’t have to walk long hallways wet at cabana? I know you didn’t ask, but since we just stayed at both dockside and cabana, the food at Cabana is so good! I swear the burger is the best burger on property!!! If you have an annual pass check every couple of days for room discounts. The price will sometimes drop the closer it gets to the date! Have a great trip!

@@carsonmatic I know, right? I feel like it’s going to be hard to go back to a regular night after we all had a dream night. If they do it again we think it will absolutely sell out. People just didn’t know what to expect.

that is awesome! We hope that you have a great trip! The larger pop-up photo experience was not put out this year, but they expanded the theming around the bar and lobby!! We said last night that it’s going to be hard to go back to not being spoiled. We had so much fun that we stayed until 2. I had 4 hours of sleep and then drove back home to edit. I’ll tell you what, that was the hardest we’ve gone at an event in a long time. I walked 12 miles and went into some houses 3 times.

I only had a few hours of sleep. We went so hard last night a second night would be rough. Sadly the house got flooded this week too and Zack had to get back to see if the second vendor was coming to fix the floors. But when media vloggers film the houses you have to see insidious. It was maybe the scariest house I’ve been to in years. And we did it alone. I honestly had to pause for a minute to continue walking. It was that scary.

The first vendor thought the HVAC may have had a leak. Had to put two rooms worth of furniture into the rest of the house.

I heard on vlogs that it was scary but I thought they meant scary themes for kids. That ride throws you around in total darkness. I was worried I’d lose my ears!! Haha

It was so big in person! We kept saying that everything looks so much better in person. You will def have to come back!

@@bridgetbangerter3230 yes, they will scan your ticket and immediately assign you your band at the entrance. Once you get your band on I would go tap into your first ride first to start the countdown since the lines are mainly virtual.

It’s very fun, Mike! I will say that I don’t normally go in all the houses because I get a bit overwhelmed or scared with some. So I pick out the fun ones and enjoy the overall vibe. People are SO nice at HHN too.

If it is a ride with a metal detector you can’t scan your digital ticket because you would have to scan it to open it again. Since those rides you can’t bring your phone with you. If you can wear your waist pouch on the rides you can scan your digital ticket and then secure your phone in your pouch. Hagrids you can wear a waist pouch as long as it is a true waist pouch and not a shoulder bag, etc. if a team member tells me I can’t take a waist pouch on I just put my entire waist pouch in the locker. But most rides you can wear a waist pouch.

Sadly, the majority of popcorn buckets will not fit in the free lockers. Depending on how many rides that you ride the day you bring one you may want to consider a pay locker that you go back to throughout the day. That might be more cost efficient than the charged upgrade to the single use larger ride locker.

I am a wimp too and wear ear plugs so I don’t get overwhelmed. That helps me enjoy the theatrics of the houses without as much jump scares. I was so in awe of Oddfellow last year that I was eyes wide open smiling the entire time!!

Liked for getting more HHN stuff in my feed but so far one channel has done a video on this with way more detail than the rest of you.

Good idea. I've been to many of these tours and a good portion of the people do just that.

Good question! Unfortunately you can only tap into one ride at a time. If the ride you are tapped into is delayed or you would rather ride another ride sooner you can swap to another ride by tapping into the other ride.

Thanks so much! We mainly film on my iphone pro max 14. We also use the DJI Pocket 2 and a gopro. I told myself that if we ever hit 1000 subs I will upgrade to a camera. It is such a nice creative outlet. But I am still very much a newbie.

Thanks so much! Yeah, we call I-4 our least favorite thrill ride. We had someone cut us off after moving multiple lanes to exit and then slam on their brakes on day one. We thought people were being dramatic talking about I-4 since we are from Dallas and the drivers there are aggressive, but I-4 is no joke.

Yes! And during HHN they come out with an HHN design for the park cup too if you would rather get one with a limited design on it! It’s a different style of a cup, but it functions the same. So you can choose which type of cup you want!

Good question! I had to think about for a minute. The sensor on the Coke freestyle machine will not work for anything other than water if you use anything other than the park freestyle cup or a paper cup with a sensor in it that is just good for I think an hour. We do, however, sometimes bring our resort cup for water and also for filling in the lobby on our way back to the hotel since some rooms are a far walk from the lobby. Hope that helps!

@@goteamadventures thanks! But could I bring it to a quick service stand and pay the $1.49 for a refill? The like I would with a souvenir butterbeer cup or a character sipper? Just as an example we are planning a pool day in the middle of our trip. Then headed to a park for dinner and just do the new dream works land and call it a night. Do you know if it’s possible so use the resort cup and just pay for a refill? Net necessarily using the freestyle machine? Thanks again!

I think it would be the $4.50ish charge for a drink in that case. That is my guess. If you can please do let us know after your visit!
