Why do you think Kinds of Kindness worse than Joker 2?
@@leventeferenc1803 good question 🤔 I don't think I have a necessary order, but in this case, Joker had concepts I thought could have been good if they were in a good movie. Both movies had unnecessary SA scenes, but in KoK we actually had to see it.
“I can't tell you who this movie made for”. Sorry that the production didn't come to you and ask for your permission,.
@@zaravandy797 what does permission have to do with that? You must have a strong attachment to this movie, and if you enjoyed it, that's good. I did not, and everyone has different tastes. Not worth commenting four times (two of which I removed)
This movie has many layers to discover, also it seems you don't know about the history behind the movie, try to read about something then tell your idea.
@@zaravandy797 knowing the history would not make this anymore interesting to me. ME. Not you
@@maxerinmovies I just thought understanding the historical context might add another layer to the story, not that you needed to do homework! Also , history just helps deepen appreciation for certain themes, not that it’s necessary to enjoy or understand the plot.
You even can’t tolerate a comment.
Crocket only killed males, fathers to be more precise, because of the abuse he suffered at the hands of his own father. Unfortunately, it's left to the viewers to figure out via clues and exposition, which is sloppy screenwriting.
agreed with everything you said, it feels like a very early draft and could have been explained much better... Also, was this movie advertised at all?? it just randomly showed up in the horror section of disney+ lol
@@valeriarossini543 I never heard about it until someone asked if I'd seen it
0:20 😂
I had a pretty similar opinion. I thought that Mr Crocket’s actions were based off the despair of the child? Like it doesn’t matter if the parent genuinely sucks or if the kid is having a tantrum, the kid feels bad so Mr crocket comes. But then why don’t we see more kids who just really hate bedtime? The end sucked. The actor for crocket was great imo. It feels like they didn’t exactly draft out how exactly they felt about the moral implications of abuse either.
Yeah, the actor who played the Crocket was fine, but the story did feel wishy washy on whether there were moral or ethical themes to address.
The joker was getting messed over in the movie it was more like the joke was on him. 😔 He just wasn't the joker the movie wasn't giving what it was suppose to give it was trash. 😔😡 I actually shouted i want my money back and walked out before the move was over.😡🤦🏾
Oh no! Yeah, many people seem to have had such a tough experience with this movie
The man has spoken
🙏🏽
I didn’t see the first movie. - it just didn’t appeal to me. But after hearing about this second one, and how it ended (the reveal), I’m actually intrigued. I don’t expect to like it, but now I’ve got to see this to see why it’s hated so much - but def will wait for it to stream on HBO. Maybe I’ll like the musical parts. 😜
For me, it felt like a waste of time. Why are we here for two hours? Why was this two hours? What do these added characters bring? I am just not invested the way I was with the first one. It actually might be tolerable watching at home and after all the talk dies down
It is a bullshit term, but I can't think of a way it can be defined such that it wouldn't include most of Clive Barker's movies. And the Shining is absolutely a horror movie that takes jabs at its source material and standard horror tropes of its time. Also would fall under the sub-genre. Genres can't really exist if they can't be applied retroactively. Good video!
This movie suprised the hell out of me that ending was so insane I wish I could watch it for the first time again
Did you see Kill (India)? Simple but fun movie.
Nah. I'll look for it and check it out
2:13 inspired by jane fonda. fonda was an oscar-winning actor but she did gymnastics tapes in the eighties, she was in her 40s at the time.
@@zeynepgulsu1899 thank you! That makes a lot of sense
good review! will for sure have to check out in theaters :)
Brandy is STILL BEAUTIFUL guys 💕👌 she STILL looks like a teenager guys 💕 black women we age so WELL ❣️ she is proof of that 💯💕
Man did you miss this film.....POINT: The ending was just as ambiguous as the main story! Don't miss the point that John had a dream/vision of the outcome of the ending when he found the damage of the ship. He was sucked into outer space and awakened wide-eyed and gasping! That is NOT a definitive ending at all ....... was the entire movie a simulation? Was his relationship real? We saw John send the text of "are you awake" ...... But in fact, was John awake? We never saw him leave the bed ....... RETHINK EVERYTHING! AGAIN - STOP IT!
I have always been curious about people like you. Why is it when people do not like something you like, you assume they miss the point or do not understand it? Why do you assume your interpretation is the only one?
Casey is awesome ! LOL! Stop it!
lol he's a fine actor, but I'm good with his recent performances😂
Did you direct The Sixth Sense?
😂 not at all
@@maxerinmovies Haha I just wasn't sure. Got confused. Thought you were Max Night Shymalan for a second.
I wanted to like Moesha in this movie, but it's nothing we haven't seen before.
I had a good time with this one. Not what I was expecting but that’s not always a bad thing. You were spot on with the horror being a play on the idea of your mother in law moving in, my girlfriend like it more than I did because of that.
I can understand that. A pretty good idea and an innovative approach that did not hit the way I personally wanted it too, but it's good that someone liked it. Maybe you can give it a rewatch with her and appreciate it a bit more, ya know
@@J_FrmTheBay yes I love it too 💯💕 love you

I had a good time with this. More than I expected.
It definitely was an innovative approach on the concept.
The movie had some misdirects but overall enjoyable. I would watch it again.
Same. I would give it another shot.
@@RP.123 I love it too 💯💕
I really loved this movie. I am constantly looking for more grounded horror and also something that subverts my expectations. This movie had me laughing, grossed out, and creeped out. These are all very real scenarios that people go through and they are scary, uncomfortable, and ridiculous to the point where sometimes it does make you laugh. It’s sad people can’t see how refreshing and well done this movie is.
Yes I love it to ❤ blow the whistle 😂😂
The Front Room was a solid but not perfect movie. ❤❤❤❤
This movie was wayyyy more watchable than the entire Fast franchise. I liked how the writer(s) juggled just 4 lead characters and made us care about each of them. It doesn't matter that the actors are all lesser known. That was just a setup for lowered expectations. But for a movie that runs under two hours, I agree that it was pretty well-paced and focused. Cliche or not, I liked it... a lot. More! More!
Movie was pretty good to me. I have this rank high in all of the alien franchise movies even though I am more of a Predator fan. How are you doing today?
I am doing well 😎 I would rank this pretty high as well
@@maxerinmovies the movie was pretty good. Now it time for predator to show something.
off topic but do you happen to have the zoom link for the blkem meeting?
In a sea of white movie reviewers it's very refreshing to see someone ethnic doing this. I also like the aesthetics of the video...stay unique and keep it up! 👍🏽
I like the review and your straight to the point approach. I will say that Casey Affleck is a tremendous actor but does have this “I’d rather not be here” type way about his personality that blends in. If you truly want to see him at his best watch Assassination of Jesse James and Gone Baby Gone, which was directed by Ben. But yea your review told me exactly what I needed to know in deciding to go and watch it. Thanks.
@@WitnessThis1000 Gone Baby Gone is good! He definitely gave off the "Why am I here" vibe. If you end up streaming it, the last ten minutes have you laughing with the six or more twists just dumped on you lol
casey delivered every line like he was sleepwalking. can't wait to not revisit this film
It’s funny, I saw the preview in the theater and as soon as I saw Affleck I was like, nope. There’s 2 actors that are straight up nos for me - Affleck and Mark Wahlberg.
@@PhoenixFit2024 I support that one hundred percent
I’m pretty sure I may be boring as well - cause I love Casey Affleck -

I hated this movie with all by being. There's only one Eric and that is Brandon Lee. Call Bill S ANY OTHER name and no one would care, but they tried and failed in the biggest way possible. Horrible and I"m so happy it will fail and bomb at the box office.
@@terrymunoztrujillo483 well, using Eric from the comics, I don't see a problem with it. That's its own thing. Now, there is only one Eric Draven, and that's Brandon Lee. The Draven name is unique to the 1994 movie. My issue is if they are going to use the names Eric and Shelly, I would have liked an adaptation of the actual story in the comic, otherwise I would have preferred new names. I don't know yet if it will fail, but I don't see it being a big success. Lionsgate already slowed on marketing because I think they don't have much faith in it
@@barbara_briar they're not gonna make even 20 million lol
@@maxerinmovies This is a cop out and Bill has said in old interviews that he was playing Eric DRAVEN. Lionsgate then changed it to no last name because of the fan uproar. But it's too late. Call him anything else and no one would be as upset, but they did and now the movie will fail.
@@terrymunoztrujillo483 did he really say Draven? Smh...yeah, it's too late now because now it seems reactive. That definitely hurts it
@@maxerinmovies yes he did say he was playing Eric Draven
See the Bollywood movie “KILL (2024)” if you want to see the most badass revenge story of the decade! Just saw the Crow (2024) and it’s so bad in comparison. Really disappointed!
@@johnschamel7255 I will definitely look for that movie!
How strong is the nudity in the film? I’d like to take my wife and teenage daughter but don’t want any heavy sexual stuff
I know a few people on here have accused you of not having seen the film. I don't have an opinion either way but from one critic to another, it might help if you had anything to say about the film that wasn't already public knowledge. There's CG. It's fine. There's action. It's Bloody. This sounds for a lot of the video like you are reviewing the trailer and not the film, or that you just read all of the reddit comments. In the future, maybe talk about some things that surprised you, or that deviated from the original film in some way that isn't already known. What was your favorite line of dialogue for example. Just some friendly advice from someone who has received similar criticisms in the past.
First time watching you. I'm not all that interested in this movie myself, but I like your review of it. It was authentic.
@@Xayjohns thank you 🙏🏽 I really appreciate the view and kind words
