It wouldn’t be what it is if we did ! It’s used for a few hours a year to remind people where and how things and machines were made and used ! There are many many many more polluting things going on like War and Lithium mining and the worlds lust for single use plastics that are produced in the 1000s of tonnes a week ! So no untill present day heavy pollution is cured this is just fine !

Probably because the tracks are not flat they have upright grousers on them that dig into the soil surface for traction That wouldn’t allow full cleaning of them in your idea I think !

@ no one will post it as it was at a day showing old machinery off keeping history alive ! Also it’s in England and we have very strict environmental rules for new vehicles and industry much more so than most of the world ! So yes when we can we will run and show off the older equipment! This isn’t mine I saw it at a show ! Many more out there ! Most people will understand history some don’t ! So again I’ll keep posting what I like and showing what the past and modern life was like !
