Farmers have always been at the mercy of natural events. More so than pretty much anyone else. And with the climate changing year to year, it will likely only get worse for them. We are fortunate to live in a nation of such affluence and bounty at the present time. But all good things DO come an end. Farmers are never happy unless you give them all your money. Every year farm welfare programs and give them piles of money that they never have to pay back and get to keep the land that you paid for. Then when grandpa and grandma decide to retire, they put the land in a trust so that when they go to the nursing home, everyone else gets to pay for the nursing home stay because the land is protected in the trust. So all the poorest people get to pay the taxes that these landowners never have to pay. Total scam on the taxpayer. They never lose and own everything. I don’t know one for Pharmacy, and everyone of them has more than me, but I have to pay for it
