A prime Wilt from the 61 and 62 seasons would block it all day long with his elbows and could jump higher run faster and score 4000 points in one season and averaged 50.6 points and 26 rebounds a game looks like these guys all forgot and Kareem straight out lied. My personal favorite shot in basketball is the Sky Hook. Thank you Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

Kenny Smith said the reason the sky hook has never been mastered by anyone other then Kareem is because it's Kareem's shot. Magic Johnston tried to develop the shot but could never do it as effective as Kareem. Kareem had a knack at it, that other big man just haven't been able to replicate it. It's true the low post game is less relevant these days as everyone is now in love with the three point shot. But it's not the only reason, as after Kareem retired the sky hook was rarely getting used before zone defense and Steph Curry came along.
