Sweet!
Love what you did to this room. It gives the average guys like myself inspiration on what can be done to a small space. Thank you for sharing this video!
I have that same receiver but I'm running 5.2.2 with all Polk Audio speakers. I'm considering switching to 7.2 but haven't decided yet. Nice setup! Job well done. ... J
thats a lot of speakers for such a small receiver but its a small room and hey 1 watt is pretty loud on Klipsch
PS love your dawg 🐕🤣
Very nice home theatre, a little bit like mine , very cool 😎 regards DSM uk 🇬🇧
Lot's of echoes in the room
What do you use to condition the sofas thanks
Well, you did a great job given the small space.
These are great little speakers, I even thought they sounded better than my SVS Ultras. The SVS Ultras are gone, the Klipsch are still here, I see no reason to part with them. They produce an incredible amount of bass too, which surprised the heck out of me. I think I paid around $89 at BestBuy for the pair a few years ago. I would recommend them as main speakers for a person just starting out in two channel, or for casual listening.
@Justinlaird Do you have a link to the rug you have?
Where did you get the tv stand?
Simple but very nice 👍 love it 😊
To add. Also for those when having a couch against a wall. A small/medium sized room (3.6m by 3.6m) with a 7.1 system in my case. What made a difference for me is placing the surround backs higher ''50cm above my ears or so''. By angling the surround sides 15/20 degrees more forward when placed in line with the front of the couch side arms made a huge difference when watching movies also depends on speakers and avr calibration etc. Good luck
Do you think you’re gonna do atmos in your space ?
Nice set up man 👍🏼
I got these for my surround pair.
Ok how much of height lift up the center channel from the table?
Thanks
These are beautiful looking, gotta love the look of the horn tweeters, very elegant especially when compared to most bookshelf speakers out there. These are meant for music, good clean analog class. Very good for the price, if you have a good power source.
Real nice system!
Great job buddy 💯. This is real home theater. Not the theatre porn the others pedal. These are the sort of rooms most people have and live in. Really happy you made this video showing the reality of what home theater is and how you can successfully create a space in your home for very little money. Happy holidays ⛄
Nice
These are the main speakers on my stereo system (mainly used for vinyl). Love them when paired with a powered sub. Could be because I don’t know any better 🤣
You are fine, these are great speakers, I don't know what this guy in the video is referring to. LOL!
Awesome! Gives me ideas for my own future home theatre
Awesome setup!, but I would highly consider putting black paint instead of grey walls seeing its a dedicated HT, even though it will close the room because its small, but trust me it will make a drastic difference.
Finally a room that actually is small, just like mine, mine is 8'x12' with a 6'7" ceiling. I currently have a 49" 4k HDR LG TV , marantz sr7013 a rotel power amp powering my LCR which are mission 704a towers and a monitor audio bronze centre, 2 pairs of mordant short alumni 2 as surrounds and backs, 2 pairs of Sony satalites as my 4 Atmos speakers, and 2 paradigm ps1000v3 subwoofers which have been modded by myself and a 2 seat sofa. People say it's overkill but I love it and it puts a smile on my face every time I watch a movie. Currently out of action due to the dreaded marantz hdmi board failure. Love the video
Gave the video a thumbs up for including your dogs in the video. To anyone criticizing any part of your setup I say….worry about your own setup. Thanks again for showing real world application of this system
My dedicated room is only slightly bigger than yours. Never had the space for a 5/7 seater. In my second iteration, I find myself perfecting the art of the single/double seat “intimate” experience and the image&sound hotspot for an audience of one. I realized that 95% of the time, I was by myself watching movies so not having a bunch of empty seats around me couldn’t be that bad. I set up a huge TV in the living room, for when I want to seat 3-7 people and my private-home-cinema is only for me+1. Managing a wall-to-wall 130” screen and killer audio system in such a small space was nothing short of a balancing act but I got two experts to assist me and I believe it turned out fine. :-)
Thanks so much for posting this. This is amazing and in mid-sized homes in India this is the only spare room one can even think of having as an HT. I keep reading that for small rooms 2 subs and floorstanders are overkill and a good 5.1(.2) set up is more than adequate with bookshelf speakers.. How are the volume levels with such high output speakers? Does it get too much / too overwhelming from a practical perspective? Thanks again!
I have a just same small home theater room like you have… And i really love this small size 👍🏻🇫🇮
I have a subwoofer. Can I go easily for them? I found them for 190, used. Thanks
Nice! I have 2 of these bad boys up front and 2 older SVS PB12-NSD (still sound great) at the rear of my room to make a grand total of 4 subs all 12' drivers matched with a Marantz Cinema 40(4 independant sub outputs) Amazing audio! Makes a huge difference!
A speaker is more than enough in that too small room, for that it is better to buy some headphones 🤣🤣🤣
Klipsch sound sharp and lean but svs pb-1000 sound full yet clean.
Can you please go through the settings on your receiver. Your front sound stage is clear and fantastic. I set up my Denon receiver using the provided microphone in my very small room 3m x 3m (that is 9 feet x 9 feet), the front sound stage is always inaudible.
This is the setup I wanted to see. Not them expensive overly done "home theaters" that the average guy will need years to save up for. 😅
Hi. May I get the product info/link for that center channel stand? Thanks!
Nice setup. If I may offer a suggestion, if you could raise the height of your side and rear speakers by about 3 feet you'd get better dispersion. In a small space, the more distance between you and the speakers the better. It took me 3 attempts of relocating my speakers to finally get it right but it's definitely worth it. It'll open up the sound stage and make the room sound bigger than it actually is. Happy Listening! 🎼
3feets are too much given the dispersion characteristics of 2 way speakers. I would elevate them 1-1,5 foot and rotate them to have tweeter upside down.
nice setup man good job, def throw a entire wall curtain up behind the tv that will complete the set...
For a room this size, you could significantly downgrade your speakers while keeping the quality high, buy or build subs (4 is better), and upgrade your whole setup. I’m probably the only on here, that owns a commercial theater but when I’m at home in a similar setup…. Do this and you will never stop praising me…. Move your chairs closer to the screen to fill your field of vision like an actual theater. Maybe 3-5ft. I promise you, it’s a game changer! Good luck.
ditch the center channel and move the l and r speakers right beside the tv...put your bass traps in the corner with an air gap behind them and you will have a better experience. And more bass trapping would make it even better.
How you liking the small theater? Any changes over time? I just set up a 5.2.2 in my 10x12 spare bedroom with a 77 c2 tv. I’m sitting 7 1/2 feet to screen and the tv is on the 12 ft wall since that’s the only way I could do it. What’s your viewing distance? I’m half thinking about going slightly closer and going 7.2.4 with in walls for surrounds. I’m using a rz50, Klipsch 8000f towers, Klipsch 500m II for surrounds, klipsch rp500sa front height, klipsch rp500c II center, and two svs sb3000 subs. Can’t decide if I want to go in walls and do 7.2.4 or leave it as is.
Whats that viewing distance? Looks good!
That is just so stinkin cute!
what happened to a video a week?
If your looking for the new best cheap sub it’s the Speedwoofer 12s
Nicely Done Sir. I have a room of similar dimensions. In the end I wound up creating a duel display setup, daytime viewing it is done on a Sony 65’’ 4k TV, movie watching is done on 100”screen with a Epson Projector, for a more immerse experience. Highly recommend a pair of SVS Subwoofers.
Nice set up 💪two Svs pb 2000s would sound crazy in that room !!!!!!!!
The regular pb1000 isnt very loud, im not the only one saying this, all the way up, not much output
