I really needed to know this I've been two three tests the next day and I sick for 3 days really bad I'm so lost on my tests I feel like I'm going to fail them all

David is a good man look at the songs he's done since Sound of Silence making people aware of suicide and all that and saying that people count. I believe that Sound of Silence was a prophecy wether it was done by the first Simon and Garfunkel or David and Disturbed people need to listen to it. he's about setting people free and when they're free they will find Jesus who will lead them to God

I am a chaplain in Healthcare. I get to spend much of my time in mental health holding groups. I too struggle with depression and anxiety. I am also a fan of Disturbed and respect David Draiman. I use his song Light as a teaching/encouragement exercise in my groups. David Draiman also spoke out on mental health from the stage - such good stuff.

Growing up as a member of the Catholic Church, I often believed I wasn't worthy to hear God's voice because I was so surrounded by dysfunction and several conflicts of interest regarding living a faith-abiding life. In other words, I didn't come from a religious family and was the only member of my family since the age of 8 who attended church every Sunday. So, faith for me was lonely in terms of an earthly experience, but my love for God kept me grounded. I tried my best to be a good child of God and serve Him. In my youth, through my mistakes and recklessness, I discovered I would hear different voices and they did sound like different radio stations as you said in your video. I will say this; God's voice when I finally realized it was His voice, was the clearest and most peaceful power that has ever come over me. The more time I spent praying and learning God's word, the more I understood the latter, but at a young age without much guidance, I was still lost. Let me explain: I was suicidal by the age of 15. I was bullied in school, had terrible friends, and parents who didn't understand me, and my brother was battling drug addiction. The pain and grief while he was alive and after his passing (he would pass away via overdose when I was 18) was devastating. I watched him overdose twice when I was 13 and 15 years old and was the one to call 911 both times to send him to the hospital. It was traumatizing and it took me years to become open to talking about it. The last time I called 911 while he was overdosing was the same year my grandmother died. I was very close to her. She was my refuge from my home, and she was gone. Unfortunately, in the darkness of all that pain as a teen, I chose for a time to play with shadows and stay hidden from God's light until one night I snuck out of my house to the beach with a large kitchen knife in my backpack, and planned to end my life. Now, sparing the details, I will tell you that God saved me that night. I can't explain how except that when I saw my reflection in the blade, my face didn't seem to look much like mine. Then suddenly there was an unseen force that made me drop the knife. I returned home alive, thanks be to God. It still gives me chills to this day. Sadly, I like the Israelites slipped up again in my life and began living for the world after my brother died three years later (I was 18). I drank too much and had too many girlfriends. I obviously didn't learn and took for granted God's love. There's a reason why we learn about the Israelites! Anyway, now comes the part where I feel God spoke to me differently. One day, I met a beautiful woman with deep faith in Christ. To this day, I tell her God wanted us to be together. I never fell so easily in love before. I knew she was the one. She with her troubled past and I with mine, we are soulmates. We married three years after we met. We have two children and we live to serve God with them. I haven't heard God's voice recently, but I always feel God's presence, for I know God is love and makes love possible. My children are proof of that. Thankfully, God hasn't seen me self-destruct, and at this point, I know in my heart I won't fail like I did in the past. I believe I am worth saving. We all are. Jesus would not have been crucified and taken the burden of our sins if we were worthless. And how could we be if we were made in God's likeness? I know this post is more of a testimony and it is LONG, so I'm sorry. But, yes, God's voice is clear, pure, and powerful and it brings about a peace no sound or song can equal. As a family, we pray together every night, attend church regularly, and learn and discuss the Word together. My wife and I try our best to put into context our earthly lives and our children as it relates to salvation, reminding our kids how important it is to never stop turning to God. We remind them to always remember that as long as our hearts and minds are open to God, He will protect us, and the Bible is not just a book, but His Word, and each verse is part of the path in the journey of life that keeps us on our hopeful way to Heaven some day. All faithful Christians are in The Lord's Army! Jesus Christ is our Commander, and our Clergy are to be the Captains of the militia. Our families are to be the support troops in battle. Our churches are to be Strongholds in troubled times, hospitals for His wounded soldiers, and the training grounds for new believers. The Veterans of the Holy War must train the willing and guide clergy in just and blessed warfare. The Sword is Heavy and the Battle is hard but all Glory is the Lord's alone! Grew up listening to Disturbed.....I mean, he did respond in pride, just a Lil with the whole calling them mfers......we should be a Lil more careful with our profanity, less is more...... but David does seem to be a good person and I do love his music....I do see him caring about his fans a lot.....and im interested in finding out more about his religious beliefs.....

I'm so joyful I stuck to watching you and am thrilled for your words. Thank you!! SIDE NOTE: as a retired and now homebound disabled veteran and for all my fallen brothers and sisters that ironically died so these "believers" can assemble and protest their funerals, I'm also grateful for you speaking up on our fallens' behalf!!!

This is a message you really want to be more explicit with. Many people use this idea to justify living in fear. It's true that Moses, Gideon, Samuel and Jeremiah just to name a few, gave God excuses. However, they also forged ahead with God's orders and became strengthened as their obedience became the norm. To say an unqualified "God's grace is sufficient" puts us in a passive state. God's grace is sufficient*to empower us to do His will*. Christianity is not an idle faith, it demands action (see Acts 26:20 and James 2), anyone who disregards holiness, repentance, and obedience because "God's grace is sufficient" will find themselves hearing "I never knew you. Away from me workers of lawlessness!"

I need to get David to know that Not even 24 hours from a much needed Surprise Girl's Disturbed 20 yr reunion concert for my friend & I ...my son did the unforgivable sin & beat me up for standing up for my grandchildren wellbeing & care in doing so his girlfriend who helped pre plan the vicious assault against me used my going to a "Disturbed" concert as her soundboard for her Shameful lies and allegations to 2 police officers who came on the scene, all on her camera as well as police officers followed right along with her discriminating lies and kept questioning me about the concert right after my son beat the crap out of me. I had blood all over and 2 officers misconduct and violating every single one of my civil, victim, women, human, constitutional rights decided to add to my PTSD after the assault and unjustly & wrongfully and with Brute force cornered me just like my son had and removed me from my home, note my grandbabies witnessed most of this. Anyways after busted up face and left to rot in jail I am finally going to my injust pre-trial This Wed. July 24th & if go on trial 31st & I need some hard prayers cause they are discriminating me saying I was or had to be under influence of something since I was at a Disturbed concert!!! I don't drink or do drugs and have video clips from Peoria concert showing that and no one around us was. It was an absolute amazing, magical concert & His song 🎵 "The Light" I sang it out loud to myself whatever it took when I had thoughts of just ending it all for myself tried few times in jail but God wasn't having it haha he has intercepted Alot to get his true purpose to me. We have a local “church” that is a cult. Just Google Bible Believers Baptist Church” in Amarillo TX. They tell everyone that doesn’t go to their church that they are going to hell!
