Follow Cody and Cameraman Tyler as they hunt a long beard in Ohio and harvest it on Tyler's Birthday.
Why dont anybody wait so long that Bobcat realizes freedom or bring some food after ??
Its going to take a lot of licking itself clean :-)
Thank you sir for releasing this magnificent animal. Only the morons trap and kill these needed animals. God bless you.
Piss poor camera work.
Looks like you two guys had to go home and change yer' underwear! Tks for the release!
If you watch a few of these videos you’ll discover the bobcats always sit there and observe for a while before they run away
Any low life pervert that uses a leg hold trap on an animal is the putrid scum of a cess pool..... There are hundreds of trap door traps used for humanely removing problem animals back to the wild... You horrible scumbags! How dare you ignorant uninformed idiots applaud these sadistic excuses for human beings... ...
someone teach this poor guy how to use a camera.
I sure hope you guys are setting these traps so you can make videos releasing these animals?
They are intended for coyotes and other predators. If a coyote was in the trap I wouldn’t have made a video because we would have harvested it. Bobcats are not legal to hunt or kill in the state of ohio so we have to release them.
@@CodyMorris210 Thank you.
Awww I hate to see them so scared.
🐺💋
You turned this beautiful and proud animal into a ball of dirt, pain, and fear just for fun. Bravo! Well done! Now, if you're an honest man, throw away your mobile, go and put your foot in a trap that you can't open yourself, break your bone, and spend the night in the cold, with a wild pain in your leg, saying goodbye to life, and trample the clearing around, wallow in the mud, and jump somersaults in despair, at a time when your children will be waiting for you and dying of hunger, and all just for some sick dude to make a video and put it on his channel for same nerds. Then you yourself will feel what this beast felt. And you will see visitors on your channel will immediately become much more!
Good
Poor kitty just wants some Friskies! 😾
They aren't much bigger than a domestic house cat but they can take down a deer. Beautiful animals!
Why are they so cute ???
Good man, compassionate with balls of steel.
What is the purpose of these traps? Catch bobcats? Guess hunting season for cats then. If not, how are they legal if they catch bobcats?
We set them for coyotes. But due to the scents we use we catch other predators. Can’t dictate what the traps catch but we do our part by not illegally shooting the cats.
Probably need to use a different term than "catch and release" as so many here ask the same question about why you are catching them. I guess a lot of people think of catching and releasing fish not realizing in this case the original intent was not to catch a bobcat.
Just place a mirror on the opposite side of where the release action shall take place. That way, it thinks there is another cat and will be occupied, fighting itself 🤔
i hope one day you're get trapped by the ball in my country they put you in jail for that
Sucks to live in that country.
Christ, if your going to be that fucking stupid with the camera, then don’t even post videos.!!!
This what people do who have blurry videos with 20 views? Downgrade other people and can’t spell. Stay classy ray.
he's waiting for u,allright.
We're are you from we are interested in buying a bobcat
We can’t harvest them in Ohio..... they are protected. They are legal in West Virginia not not our area yet.
Бедняжка котик! Он уже и не верит в освобождение.
Stupid people writing how good they are. But who is trapping them???!!!!
We are as hunters and conservationists for our farms and farmers. Don’t call people stupid if you have no idea what we do or who we are.
@@CodyMorris210 hurting their paws , too sad
@@qazaqb7070 it’s no different than a handcuff. It’s not a trap that has teeth on it to cause breaks or damage. It puts pressure on the joint which causes no pain. Like I said do research before you call people stupid.
Why you catch trapping and releasing???
Because we aren’t allowed to kill bobcats in our area. If it were a coyote or a fox we would have harvested it.
In the Czech Republic, this method of hunting is prohibited. It's animal cruelty. In our country, a harmful animal is shot. It's a stupid and nowadays way of hunting. The country that will allow it is a third world country for me.
Different laws for different country’s. We do what we are allowed to within the regulations.
@@Piflaser he didnt stated his opinion he stated facts.
Yada yada yaa
So will he loose his foot if he lives?
No the traps are like a set of handcuffs. He didn’t lose his paw.
This is simple quick safe best method to release trapped animals~
Muddy kitty
Thought that was Hillary Clinton for a good 4:44
Bravo
Why do you have that trap there anyways? Who knows how many are killed because of these irresponsible people.
We aren’t irresponsible. We know how to use the traps and have cameras set up by them that send us pictures so we know what’s in the trap to get them released fast.
King
If stupid jerks wouldnt put traps, there would be no need to release them. They were there way before humans. It’s their land. Humans are assholes.
what, you actually trap them for fun, then release them?
No. We trap coyotes. Bobcats are protected in our area. We aren’t allowed to kill them.
@@CodyMorris210 Why aren't coyotes protected? They're beautiful. Apologies, we don't get coyotes in London, apart from the Zoo.
@@michaelread2067 no problem. They are like wild boar on Texas. They have a season all year long which means they are populated in the US. Killing turkeys, fawns, smaller game animals ect.
@@CodyMorris210 Could you treat animals better? The earth does not belong to human being, the earth belongs to all animals! Please protect all wild animals! The wild animals already killed tooooooo much by human being! Please protect our earth, and please be nice and kind to all animals!
@@lilysing766 The best way to protect all wild animals is for all human being to commit suicide.
I have seen quite a few of these “bobcat catch and release” videos lately. Why is it so popular to catch these bobcats just to release them? Are there other similar size game you are after and the bobcats just accidentally happen to entering the trap first?
I’m Ohio where I’m from it’s illegal to kill bobcats. Somme other states probably have the same laws. We put these out in hopes of catching coyotes and foxes but have had a few cats step in the traps
@@CodyMorris210 Thank you! Good luck in catching coyotes and foxes!
Attach handles on the back
Moron.
Thank you.
viewers don understand the reasoning for catching and releasing. was the trap set by hostile farmers?😃😃
No sir. Set by good ole boys who wanna take care of their land like myself.
So why are these guys trapping Bobcats?
We put the traps out for coyotes. Sometimes a cat gets stuck in the trap lookin for food.
why do you lot catch and release bobcats? Is this supposed to be fun?
No. It’s illegal for us to harvest them. The traps are intended to harvest other predators such as coyotes
Smart cat he / she knows you just set her foot free. She is not looking at you with mad, kill, destroy in her/his eyes.
She wasn’t to happy once we got up there but at the end she was calm.
Nice job - pity the camera was jerking around all over
the trap should be forbidden as it is extremely cruel and dangerous in addition to many human women, children hikers are seriously injured and disabled with these traps setting them should be considered a crime punishable by jail
We only set them on private property. These traps aren’t like they use to be. There’s no sharp teeth, the intent is to only hit the joint of the animal causing a pinch point. Animals have gotten out of them. Yeah it will cause some discomfort for them but it’s not going to puncture their limbs like the old school bear traps.
Excuse my ignorance, but why do people put down these traps?
Our intentions were to catch coyotes. They are overpopulated in this area and we don’t get to hunt them like we would like. So we set out the traps hoping to catch them instead. With that being said, bobcats search for food and they tend to get trapped as well.
@@CodyMorris210 so you decide to kill all animals idiot. every bobcat you catch will die in the wild because of the injured paw. that animal cannot hunt and feed itself.
@@corruptandimmoral you obviously no nothing about traps and how advanced they are now. Do some research before name calling bud.
You could improve the plywood method. By putting 2 or 3 different sized paw notches, one on each flat side of the plywood. Putting a couple rope handles on the backside would be helpful as well. This way you could have a cat/fox size notch, and wolf sized notch. Or whatever un-intentional catches happen.
I’ll definitely keep that in mind. Thank ya!
I am glad they are released. But very sad to see so many traps people made. Such traps have made them exausted, or even they might have injured in some ways already. also very likely would make them more difficult to fight for food and to servive later.
The paw wasn't hurt at all

@@larrysimmons7719 how are you so sure about that, fucking traps... just learn to hunt coyote another way
