I finished this show maybe 2 or so years ago. It's truly one of the more creative shows I have ever watched. The plot was well written and never had cheesy CW villain of the week writing. From start to finish i was being wowed by what i was watching and it was one wild ride.

Please can you explain the end of sesson 3 ?

The show has NOTHING to do with ‘fatherhood’. We never see the father. We only see a guy with dissociative personality disorder. Christian Slater’s character is the father, it’s a projection. And the whole child molestation theme was weird, out of place and a distraction to the show.

Half of an episode of the TBH Podcast is just him calling Trisha Paytas a pig.

I'm 43 years old. Twin peaks came out when I was nine. I have two core memories from this show that play in my mind multiple times and I've never thought to watch it and I don't know why. So I'm starting today. I have a core memory of Laura Palmer being unwrapped and then a core memory of her autopsy of letters or words typed that were pulled out from under her fingernail. I can't wait to start this journey

I absolutely loved how off the rails the return was. Dougie jones fucking shit up without saying more than 5 words was epic and general Briggs storyline was just chefs kiss

Interesting to see how Trowbridge hasn't changed a great deal but for the sad loss of many big businesses that had created a great deal of employment for the town.

Honestly one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. Forced myself only to watch 2 episodes in one sitting, savoring it for as long as possible. What’s funny is I watched this show in 2023, so I was a super late to the game, but in doing so I have the advantage of hindsight, and the fact that this came out in 2014-2015 is pretty scary.

Great video :) though at 5 mins you say the road layout has changed, it hasn't, you can still follow the same route past the old post office but cant go the other way as its buses only :)

I used to see it at my local video shop to rent two VHS boxs when i was a kid .it was on tv but late in the night but watching it now at 41 man its good .

I swear whenever the networks are trying to squeeze more story out of the shows, just for the views, it always ends up bad.. They should just let the creators tell the story the way they want.. cause recently I also found out that Linch didn't even want to reveal Laura's murderer.. It would have been interesting as well to keep it a mystery and make the audience only speculate.. 😌

The 4th arc of Jojos bizarre adventure is also heavily inspired by Twin Peaks and it’s also imo the best Jojo arc by far…

It is really upsetting when you try desperately to get your friends into twin peaks cause it’s so good, and they just don’t get it.

Mr. Robot is a wall-to-wall tour de force of artistic excellence. That's not hyperbole. Go watch it.

Was fortunate to have watched this when first aired, was amazing, still is, but back the 80’s there was nothing like it, a lot of people left watching after the famous episode 3, but the real Twin Peaks fans loved it and continued to watch it, even into the middle of season 2, it was these fans that kept the show alive, and why season 3 exists, Iconic characters and imagery that is still not matched today of any TV show

The fact the original actor is gone of both morty and Rick just makes this hit different knowing the OG Rick and Morty is gone.

This is amazing 🤯 seeing how similar everything is, yet different in a way that feels off for somebody that regularly explores these routes! I can't believe the Tesco I work at used to be a patch of grass in the 1990's! That's wild to think about!

the thing that set this show apart from other is that they put so much effort in cinematography. to the regular viewers, its just that thing that sits in the background but unknowingly provides a lot of the structure of each episode. every single episode they put out, they try to differentiate it from the previous one. theres these two episodes that I cannot forget and I remember repeating to myself while watching them "this is genius". those episode are episode 5 3rd season (the one shot take) and the 80's theme episode from episode 6 season 2. it is so bold for them to go out of their comfort cinematography zone and try out these out of the box idea. the one shot take especially is just so smooth and carries everything til the end. the 80's episode might be considered as comical but damn it was definitely out of the box. its not just the cinematography as well. the scene in season 4 episode 4 where we see Tyrell and Elliot-mr.Robot walking in the woods. they are not just walking though, they are surviving. 99% of all the scene before that happened in the city, a modern world where they are constantly fighting with technology and internet, and suddenly the director just put them in a forest. without any technology or skyscrapers. it's always something new!

I'm re-watching the show for probably the 5th time. It's pretty amazing but if you actually think about it, the characters are so sympathetically written that you forget how many of your favorite characters are (mass)murderers! And you're still desperately and completely rooting for them! *(Spoilers on bottom of post will list my favorite killers 😁)* The difference between Mr.Robot and Breaking Bad to me is that BB has amazing characters, good/great cinematography and a great plot that gets a little clunky in the last season. Granted, they thought they were ending the series in the previous season so went out with they thought would be a explosive bang but then had to reset everything for one more go at it. For Mr.Robot, the amazing characters, great cinematography and the plot fit together seamlessly from start to finish with all aspects just as good or better than BB. The cherry on top was the soundtrack of Mac Quayle. The choices were across all seasons added to the impact of all the rest of the pieces of the show. There isn't a week that goes by that I don't still listen to Maxence Cyrin's Where is my Mind, Gwan by The Suffers, The Moth and The Flame by Les Deux Love Orchestra or even Run Away with Me by Carly Rae Jepsen so that I get all the FEELS thinking about this show! That's even without talking about karaoke Everybody Wants to Rule the World or 2.8 2-Phase Vox before the Diner scene! Anyways, my fav killers were Elliot/Mr.Robot, Darlene, Tyrell, Whiterose, Leon, Mr. Sutherland, Irving, Vera (I see you now...), Ray, Peanuts, Javi, poor poor puppet Derek, anice, and, of course the Holy Show himself, Deegan McGuire (Ta-ta for now, you flange!)

I KNEW yellow lines were less bright than they used to be. I swear back in the day they'd be like proper bold and amber. Now, even when thry're freshly done they're like pale and off colour.

Go back just over/under 10 years ago trowbridge was a lovely place to live and it was thriving all the shops were full no empty stores, kids actually playing in the park and upper and lower fields the town centre was buzzing with both wetherspoons open, taxis and buses coming and going like clockwork. Now look where we are 2023 😞
