Hi Kevan, it has been an emotional rollercoaster for me, too.Even for those of us who have always had backup plans and alternative income streams to help us cope with quiet periods, it has been devastating to lose friends and family to COVID and to see our colleagues suffer the consequences of the economic fallout.

Nice one guys ... Pity I missed the webinar but just finished catching up. A quick question going forward in helping the guidelines... Would not the advent of like the Safety Advisory Groups in the UK with competent persons in every province with links to relevant Municipalities also be a better way of advising & assisting govt depts better & event specific? This would also expand the scope of Safety & Technical not just presence at an ESSPC meeting... Just a thought...

I have emailed you to please send me a copy of the guidelines once you have released them so that I may distribute to our Wedding Venues and Vendors. E: tracy@trunk.co.za We would love to propose that we are allowed more than 50 guests to attend a wedding, and that Government takes into account the size of the venue and work on the square meters rather than the amount of guests allowed to attend. Should a venue be bigger, and have outdoor space, it should be allowed to host more than 50 guests at one event or wedding. Thank you.

Please consider small companies when making rules and introducing certifications that may become expensive and impossible for smaller companies to afford, let us be safe not to open opportunities to create a business in new guidelines for safety. Shiba's events drapes pty Ltd.
