This was easy, I just needed to know how to 2:50 and found a better strat (by doing wallboost is easier, is a gm tech so is not as accesible)

Thank you for the tutorial even if sometimes I think some instuctions aren't as detailled as they should be, i'm pretty sure the speedrun terms and explanations weren't as democratized 4 years ago as they are today anyway. Also the last room was hell, it took me 1h20 while i completed all the other rooms in 20 mins, that jump on the moving platform was probably the hardest jump i ever did in celeste, good luck for people that haven't completed it yet !

In the room at 5:52 you can do a spike jump at the ledge after you jump off the collaping platform. I found that to be much eaier.

The terminology here is a joke, this is the reason people misuse the word "spikejump"

There is only one spike jump in the entire dashless run 2:43 (spiked corner kick). These are climbjumps or corner jumps (the trick is called 5-jump). Spikejumps are usually done with wind, moving away from the spikes, or obscure tricks with hitbox leniency. You need to jump off the actual spikes for it to be called a spikejump.

To anyone who's struggling at the last room (7:10) there is a setup that worked for me in getting Madeline to grab onto the moving platform. On the wall where she jumps off you can see a pattern of three snow pixel formations. Position Madeline so that her lowest pixel is one below the bottommost "snow spike", hold grab + left and then press and hold jump until you're just below the platform where you have to switch from left to right the moment that the game clips you around the corner of the platform. It will take a couple of tries but was fairly consistent.

2:10 is the only spike jump in the entire video. If you have to hold climb it's not a spike jump, you're just interacting with the wall. Most of these are 5-jumps.

Part at 6:28 I found it much easier to just jump and wall kick off the grey blocks then jump off the corner by the 6 spikes, lines up nicely.
