I just got a onewheel.I been gone on family/business trips last few weeks.i I get the next week off I cant wait to get on a an see how the learning curve process goes.

I have Raynaud's disease so my hands are always frozen and after about 10 mins on the wheel in the cold my hands hurt so much i have to turn around. Got a pair of the F(x)nction full fingers and even with those im trying to figure out a pair of heated gloves to fit underneath lol. BBut for normal people without hands made of ice there great :D Oh well it's only cold only almost half the year, that's not too long right? lol

I switched out my wrist guards for good motorcycle gloves. I feel like the wrist guards would have better protection for OWing, but the motorcycle gloves are much warmer.

Fellow winter rider here, hailing from Alaska! Good advice couple things to add and or expand on. I'm a fan of the Carhart lined as well but I just rock the jeans. The liner in the pants is like a pajama type- super comfy plus they have other colors like black. Black keeps from showing stains etc. Thats what we wear for work pants. For footwear I would suggest ones with a little extra room in the toe box if you have longer, colder rides. I find the extra room to wiggle my toes for warmth helps since you cant really move your feet. -Keep Stokin'-

Bro I literally just asked about cold weather gear in the OW Owners FB group a couple days ago.

I ride with a full face helmet and a snowboard jacket for winter riding. Anything to block the wind is huge in staying warm.

I like my tac pants my only complaint is the front pockets being so tight. Thanks for the tip I will definitely be looking for some carhartt overalls.

the TAC pants look sick! wish they came in black tho... i love my fullfinger flatland carbons, they arent the warmest gloves but theyre rly nice. i end up wearing so much more gear in the cold haha

I'm in FL, this morning it was 38 degrees with 80% humidity. My setup was a nice decently thick hoodie, neck gaiter, TFL windbreaker jacket, REI trailmade pants which are windproof, and long johns thermal layer underneath them. Oh and my Ombraz glasses which kept most of the wind out of my eyes but some still got in and my eyes teared up from the cold. That Carhart overalls and TFL TAC pants look great but they'd probably be too hot for FL 10 months out of the year.

What are they doing that's bad? Anyone can build a vesc right? The adv2 clames to be better in every way and its 2100$ or so and they are probably making a profit. Future motion is trying to sell a complete product . You can have a clone made in China right now if you had the money needed.

You hit home with this my buddy Jay and I were just talking about this how people events aren’t as big as they should be for Onewheel for example going to the red wood forest, white sands New Mexico riding the falls in the south east and so on but very few know about this. Now on the fact of future motion they don’t want to loose what they have they wanted monopoly the Onewheel people know this. It makes the money

Thanks for the tips. I tend to go perpendicular on the back for and front facing with the lead foot. Feels like a middle ground to me

Ankles twist as well as bend, and it is entirely possible to face forward while having the feet parallel without twisting from the upper body in the plane of the carve
