I really like the luggage rack. That looks really good and seems functional.
The Michelins, the metzlers, and the dunlops are the best choices. I went with a set of dunlops this time on my scout. So far, so good. On the Indian challengers, a lot of guys are running the metzlers and love them. But the common complaint is longevity for the life of the tires. They’re stickier than some of the others, so..

Dude you had the license plate showing half the video then you covered it . If a person wanted to get it they could. Then you uncovered it again towards the end of video. 😮 that’s something I never understood.
@@randallcurtis1 if you would’ve been there, you would’ve understood. I had had a rock fly up and hit the fender, and I had some touchup paint from a friend of mine at a body shop. So in the mist of doing the pipes, I was actually painting the bottom of the fender, thanks for noticing though.
That’s why we always tell people to heed the warnings and take them seriously. Tropical storms are notorious for dropping massive amounts of rain very fast. And this one didn’t even make a landfall here. It was just passing by.
Somebody has to pay for all those palm trees! #FloriDUH!

Can you please advise which bags and whst mounting kit you used. Thanks
They are Viking bags for a Honda rebel 500 in gloss bike. The part number is 25505. You will have to raise them up to where the top is as high as the rear seat. Unless you change the exhaust to a GEM exhaust. Which I was going to do. You will have to modify these bags with longer screws, which I ordered on Amazon. I know they were M8 Bolts. You will need 12 Stanley steel flat thick washers. I only used four spacers for the front four. I hate to say it. I’m doing it by memory because in December State Farm totaled my bike out. Unfortunately, the install video that I promised was on the Insta360, which got destroyed. Feel free to ask I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

How does the passenger fit . Would the passenger pegs need to be modified or replaced for the 1100t pegs ?
It really depends on the size of the passenger. My wife would not ride it because it was so uncomfortable. So it became a commuter bike.

Ummmmmm you want me to list all the recalls on Polaris I mean Indian motorcycles from 2023. Indian Motorcycle has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2023 Chieftain Elite, 2023-2024 Chieftain, Chieftain Dark Horse, Chieftain Dark Horse Icon, Chieftain Limited, Roadmaster, Roadmaster Dark Horse, Roadmaster Limited, Springfield, Springfield Dark Horse, and 2024 Roadmaster Elite motorcycles. HD had a recall on ONE bike. 2023 Street Glide CVO. People have been returning Indian motorcycles for the last three years for Stalling while e riding issues and major front end chatter.

If you do notice in doing this, you were here the floorboards drag the ground. The voyager is not known for its lean angle. I’m not going for reading the instructions. So, enjoy the fun.
Now that we’ve had three months with these pipes, the sound has gotten better. Just like everything they have to break in. Also, my fuel mileage went up to 41.5. If you drive responsible. These pipes just keep sounding better. This bike is so much more fun to drive . I ever could imagine how much fun.

What octane do you run?
You have to run super unleaded. I try to Amoco 93 octane. If you have the Ivan flash, it tells you you have to run premium. It will let you know if you get premium or not very quickly. I run it in all my bikes.
I’ve run 91 octane seems to run OK
@@dragonslayer1294 as long as you’re on super unleaded. Try it one time with Amaco 93. It has a whole different smell. You are right as long as you super unleaded.
I believe I looked in the menu and it said you had to run at least 91 so actually I’ve run 87 as long as I don’t get on it too much and run OK but then I switched it back up to 91 I run 93 in it just didn’t seem to make much difference I run Sunoco don’t believe we have Amico around here. @dragonslayer1294 if your bike has been Ivanized you will have to run premium. Believe me. It will knock and rattle after the ECU has been flashed on 87. The station up the street had a wrong dump on fuel and unfortunately I found this out. I end up having to put octane boost to help it out.

I went with these and they are great. Plus, you still need the shock cut out on the front. Hope this helps.
The Rebel 1100 is a good bike but, I was also looking to change the front wheel to a dual disc. I had talked to the dealership and see if we couldn’t cross reference it with another Honda motorcycle. The Honda is a great commuter bike. Great gas mileage. With the bags from Viking it was really a good bike. I wanted to take and put a small café fairing just over the light to block some of the wind off of your chest.
Cool they have a lower-tiered version. I'd get a Rebel 1100 if it just had the bike and ABS, w/out all the doodads.
It is nice.
Glad to see you are happy with the bike. The FTR is really an amazing, fun motorcycle.
This is an amazing motorcycle from an amazing dealership.
So what was wrong with the switch?
The off and on switch was shorting out. It’s at old lesson just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’s good. Toho Marine had tore the whole back of the boat deck out looking for the short. Even they were amazed when I put a new one in and it worked. I had another video up and I don’t know where it went actually showing what was happening. I would go fishing for a few hours and the battery would be completely dead. It was shorting them out. A $20 piece caused this much aggravation. I found out I wasn’t the only one I guess it was a bad lot of them. Thanks.
@@donfousek379 thanks for the info. I’m getting ready to buy an 03’ zx225 excellent condition low hours on motor. But I’m going to change graphs and go to heavier gauge wire. Guess I’ll change switch out as well while I’m at it
@@MrBdogg317 not necessarily. If it already has an off and on switch depending on how many graphs you run, you should be OK. I run three helix 12s. Also a solo 12. Four units. Also a 360. I have an off on with battery one and two. The battery too is hooked to one of my troller motor batteries on the post. I also have an Odyssey cranking battery. I have never had a problem since. You’ll love the ride in a Skeeter. Look at the video from Skeeter all fired up.
Do you know if you HAVE to get new pipes when you do the ECU flash? Also if you get it flashed and later get pipes does it need to get flashed again?
You do not need to have new pipes to have it flashed. Just contact Ivan and send him the ECU. You can add pipes later and you don’t have to send the ECU back. If you change the intake, you have to send it back.
@@donfousek379 what does changing the intake do? I'm buying a 2015 this week
@@Rapheal.De.La.Ghetto if you change the intake, it will allow more air to come into it. You will end up losing the covers off of the engine because of the new intake. Which will change the function that the ECU is doing. I think it was about 1000 to change the intake. I didn’t do it I don’t like the way the roaring toyz intake looks.
